The recent high-precision measurements of alpha-particle induced reaction data below the Coulomb barrier (B) make possible understanding limits and improvement a previous optical model potential (OMP) for alpha-particles on nuclei within mass number range 45<A<209 [M. Avrigeanu et al., Phys. Rev. C 82, 014606 (2010)]. An updated version this is given in present work concerning mainly an increased surface imaginary depth well B A>130. Moreover, underestimation cross sections well-deformed...

In the frame of refined prompt neutron emission models used for evaluation purposes, partition total excitation energy (TXE) between fully accelerated fission fragments plays an important role. this work TXE complementary is obtained by taking into account components at scission. The method consists two steps: calculation additional deformation energies nascent (which are relaxed full acceleration) and available scission (obtained subtracting calculated from TXE) assuming statistical...

Then, within an extended analysis interactions with ${}^{\mathrm{nat}}$Fe, all processes from elastic scattering until the evaporation fully equilibrated compound system have been taken into account. Following available elastic-scattering data...

The muon charge ratio of the lateral density distributions in single EAS is studied by simulations, context recent proposals to measure this observable coincidence with observations. While effects hadronic interaction do not lead significant differences total μ+ and μ− content, azimuthal variation densities opposite charges appear be very much pronounced, dependent on direction incidence. This due influence geomagnetic field which induces related radio emission from extended air showers.

An extended analysis of the nuclear reaction mechanisms involved within deuteron interaction with nuclei, namely breakup, stripping, pick-up, pre-equilibrium emission, and evaporation from fully equilibrated compound nucleus, is presented in order to highlight importance direct still neglected deuteron-induced surrogate reactions. Particularly, dominance breakup mechanism at low energies around Coulomb barrier should be considered case (d,x) reactions on actinide target nuclei.
