Input-match, noise figure (NF), in-band (IB) third-order input-referred intercept point (IIP3), out-of-band (OB) IIP3, and power consumption are five crucial performance metrics of a radio frequency (RF) receiver. In typical passive mixer-first receiver, these tightly coupled with each other. this article, second-order baseband noise-canceling (NC) scheme is proposed to break the tradeoffs in an N-path Analytical expressions for input impedance, NF, IB-IIP3, OB-IIP3 NC receiver derived...

Accreting supermassive black holes (SMBHs) frequently power jets that interact with the interstellar/circumgalactic medium (ISM/CGM), regulating star-formation in galaxy. Highly supersonic launched by active galactic nuclei (AGN) a cocoon confines them and shocks ambient medium. We build upon models of narrow conical interacting smooth medium, to include effect dense clouds are an essential ingredient multiphase ISM. This paper presents a widely tunable balanced-to-unbalanced (balun) bandpass filter (BPF). The proposed balun uses two 2-port N-path BPFs with embedded quadrature phase shifting to achieve the single-ended differential conversion. Analytical expressions for in-band (IB) (DS) and (SD) voltage gains are derived validated. A prototype is implemented in CMOS 65 nm technology it occupies an active area of ≈ 0.7 mm2. Post-layout simulations show common mode rejection 50 dB during DS operation....
