The Kangxiwa–Dahongliutan pegmatite field in the Western Kunlun Orogen, China contains numerous granitic pegmatites around a large pluton (the Dahongliutan Granite with an age of ca. 220 to 217 Ma), mainly including barren garnet-, tourmaline-bearing pegmatites, Be-rich beryl-muscovite and Li-, P-rich albite-spodumene pegmatites. textures, major element contents, trace concentrations columbite-group minerals (CGM) cassiterite from three region were investigated using combination optical...
The Kalu’an-Azubai pegmatite field, one of the most important rare-metal metallogenic regions in China, contains a large number dikes belonging to spodumene and lepidolite subtypes. Columbite-group minerals (CGMs) collected from three subtype pegmatites (No. 802, No. 803, 805 pegmatites) were analyzed for major element contents using EPMA (electron probe micro-analyzer) dated LA-ICP-MS (laser ablation-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer). crystallization ages CGMs are 209.5 ± 1.4 Ma...
In this paper, a boron-mannitol complex wet acid digestion method proposed for the accurate determination of boron in silicate samples by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) was investigated detail first time. With addition 50 μL mannitol (2% wt.) into mixture 0.6 mL concentrated HF and 30 HNO3, mg sample effectively decomposed after being heated overnight with optional pre-ultrasonic treatment. Following fluoride formation prevention 8% HNO3 (wt.) decomposition using 6%...
Tourmaline, a boron-bearing mineral, has been extensively applied as geothermometer, provenance indicator, and fluid-composition recorder in geological studies. In this paper, the decomposition capability of an HF-HNO3–mannitol mixture for tourmaline sample was investigated detail first time, wet acid digestion method based on boron–mannitol complex accurate boron determination by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) proposed. With temperature 140 °C, samples 25 mg (±0.5 mg)...
The Thor Lake rare-element (Y-REE-Nb-Ta-Zr-Be) deposit, Northwest Territories, Canada, is a world-class deposit hosted by alkaline syenite and granite has two main mineralized zones, namely the Nechalacho T Zones deposit. Zone shown to have originally been pegmatite, but experienced strong hydrothermal overprint. Coarse-grained megacrystic, elongate crystals defining pegmatitic texture are completely pseudomorphed interpreted nepheline. underwent three alteration stages, which (from earliest...
A group of Rb‐rich granitic pegmatites near Ziyugou, Danfeng, in the North Qinling Orogen lack typical lithological zoning and have a simple mineralogy dominated by quartz + microcline albite with garnet minor quantities. Biotite is rare, muscovite was mostly formed during greisenization. Graphic texture can be observed within contact country rock. The localized garnet‐rich zones that contain 5–15 vol.% accessory zircon, columbite, xenotime, thorite. are peraluminous (A/CNK = ~1.02–1.23) low...
The recently discovered Shalong iron deposit in the Central Tianshan with a reserve of 14 Mt at 25–30 wt.% Fe shows typical formation geological characteristics: host rocks are mainly metamorphosed volcanic including quartz hornblende schist, mica and plagioclase amphibolite; orebodies stratiform bedded, indicative strata‐controlled deposits; metallic minerals dominated by magnetite haematite ilmenite minor quantities, whereas gangue quartz, amphibole, chloritoid, plagioclase; ore textures...
The purpose of this study is to experimentally investigate the performance, combustion and pollutant emissions a multipoint electronic fuel injection gasoline engine using methanol–gasoline blends. results indicated that, with increase in methanol (CH3OH) content blends, maximum torque power are slightly decreased, brake specific consumption evidently increased thermal efficiency remains almost identical. At low loads speeds, observed have faster velocity, but blends at high speeds. carbon...
Abstract: Three fragments of the Archean oceanic crust have been found between granulite belt and Paleo‐Proterozoic Hongqiyingzi group in North China craton, which spread along Shangyi‐Chicheng ancient fault. This paper presents integrated field, petrology, geochemistry geochronology evidence fragments. The magma crystallizing age tonalite Shangyi complex is 2512±19 Ma geochemical characteristics suggest that Nb‐enriched basalts may be related to crustal contamination formed intra‐oceanic...
The Lubei Ni–Cu–Co deposit situated in western segment of the Huangshan-Jing’erquan mafic–ultramafic rock belt eastern Tianshan Central Asian Orogenic Belt (CAOB). estimated reserve is approximately 9.11 million tons ore resources with average grades 0.82 wt% Ni, 0.52 Cu, and 0.03 Co. intrusion mainly composed gabbro (phase I), peridotite II), pyroxene III), olivine pyroxenite IV), diorite V), which intruded into early Carboniferous tuffaceous clastic rocks. Zircon Laser Ablation–Inductively...
Cenozoic alkali basalts in Southeast (SE) China generally are genetically related to intracontinental rifting. Hence, they can be used probe the nature of their underlying mantle sources and aid studies tectonic background this region. This paper focuses on Shanhoujian located Bailing County, northeastern Fujian, SE China. We herein report petrology, whole-rock major, trace element geochemistry, Sr-Nd isotopic composition provide a new zircon U-Pb age for (~40 Ma, Eocene). These data help...
In this work, optical critical dimension (OCD) spectroscopy was used to monitor the for gate and STI AEI (After-Etch Inspection) structures. The reference measurements with CD-SEM (CD Scanning Electron Microscope) TEM (Transmission Microscopy) were also carried out. OCD results show high precision, stability good correlation. This work demonstrates capability of as an important metrology technique IC process control.
Abstract The Guanpo pegmatite field in the North Qinling orogenic belt (NQB), China, hosts most abundant LCT pegmatites. However, their emplacement conditions and structural control remain unexplored. In this contribution, we investigated it combining orientation measurement with oxygen isotope geothermometry fluid inclusion study. orientations of type A1 pegmatites (P f < σ 2 ) are predominantly influenced by P‐ T‐fractures due to simple shearing Shiziping dextral thrust shear zone...
The Tarim Block contains important information of the Precambrian crustal evolution Earth. In this paper, we present detailed petrographic and in situ zircon U–Pb Hf isotopes data for Palaeoproterozoic host rocks (gneiss gneissic granite) Shuangfengling gold deposit Quruqtagh terrane order to constrain their ages magma sources discuss tectonic environments. Zircon laser ablation–inductively coupled plasma–mass spectrometry indicated that were formed at 1948 ± 17 1944 13 Ma, respectively, all...
The general chemical formula of garnet can be expressed as X3Y2(ZO4)3 where X, Y, and Z represent dodecahedral, octahedral, tetrahedral sites, respectively. Lithium, phosphorus, rare earth elements (including yttrium) in garnets from the Luanzhuang-Guanpo Ziyugou (ZYG) pegmatite fields East Qinling orogen Kalu'an (KLA) Li pegmatites Chinese Altay have been investigated both at a mineral scale context types to identify substitution mechanisms for these elements. The Huangyangshan A-type granitic pluton, distributed along the thrust fault in Kalamaili region of East Junggar, Xinjiang, China, consists alkaline granite containing abundant dioritic enclaves that formed via magma mixing. Both host and contain sodic amphiboles. textural evidence indicates amphiboles crystallized as a magmatic phase both units. We determined major trace element contents from units to investigate compositional variation during mixing process. results show cations W- C-site...
