Methods We collected data complicated in our hospital from January 1, 2013 2023. patients were divided into two groups: (1month∼4 years old, n = 7) (4∼18 7). differences manifestations surgical results groups compared. Results A total 14 unilateral included study, including 9 on left side 5 right side. main pain...
Abstract To endow non‐antibacterial molecules with highly efficient bactericide activity is an important but challenging issue. Herein, a kind of cell‐penetrating peptide octa‐arginine (R8) found to be effective in activating antibacterial ability when assembling anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), while individual R8 or SDS shows poor no ability. By combined electrostatic, hydrogen bond, and hydrophobic interactions, associate into wormlike micelle lamellar structure by forming...
A 50 × 10 mm3 monolithic gadolinium aluminum gallium garnet (Gd3Al2Ga3O12; GAGG):Ce crystal coupled to a 8 silicon photomultiplier (SiPM) array was developed; it showed very good system uniformity and high energy resolution of 7.4% at 662 keV. By using convolutional neural network-based positioning algorithm fan-beam calibration method, the detector achieved position ∼1.4 mm depth interaction ∼2 mm. Based on this high-performance detector, we developed coded aperture gamma camera. 1-mCi...
In this paper we report the results of Micromegas prototypes constructed by attaching micromesh to an anode using thermo-bond films. The excellent metal ability and good dielectical property kind film make it a promising material be used as avalanche gap spacers. Several are successfully made. electron transmission properties first studied then gas gain is measured in argon-isobutane mixtures. maximum more than 104 easily obtained. energy resolutions for 55Fe 5.9 keV Kα ray can better 20%...
The Eplus-260 primate PET is an animal imaging system developed by the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy Sciences, which designed to image non-human primates, especially brain large primates. consists 48 block detectors arranged in two 24-sided rings with a ring diameter 263 mm and axial extent 64 mm. Each detector composed 16 × cerium-doped lutetium-yttrium orthosilicate crystal array pixel size 1.9 10 mm3. This article presents performance evaluation scanner according...
Abstract This study is devoted to studying the performance of plastic scintillating fibers (PSFs) for a high-position-resolution muon imaging detector. A test system based on Compton coincidence technique designed light collection PSFs. When scattering occurs between PSFs and gamma ray emitted by collimated radioactive source, PSF detector has detected definite energy recoiled electrons, scattered photons. Four groups were tested, three which wrapped with Enhanced Specular Reflector (ESR) in...
Y2SiO5: Ce (YSO) scintillation with characteristics of high light yield, fast decay time, and Compton scattering fraction shows good application potential for imaging. In this article, we propose a 3-D scintillator detector, which is segmented by the YSO monolithic rods pixelated subsurface laser engraving (SSLE) in depth direction. Two arrays silicon photomultipliers are optically coupled to array at each end, pixels designed one-to-one match. By identifying location number measuring...
The properties of two-flavor quark matter are investigated with a model which incorporates the confinement by density-dependent masses (CDDM). results compared those in conventional MIT bag model. It is found that density behavior two models significantly different. Specially, second derivative energy can be negative CDDM while always positive. This makes velocity sound very different both models.
The structure and working principle of Micromegas (MICRO Mesh Gaseous Structure) is discussed. Some radiation sources α X rays are used to test this detector. optimized electric-field intensity the conversion gap obtained. transmission electrons uniformity amplification also presented. energy resolution 5.9 keV peak better than 27%.
Micromegas (MICRO MEsh GAseous Structure) is a position-sensitive gaseous detector. It widely used in particle physics. We present the results of full 3D Monte Carlo simulations performance, taking into account all processes from primary ionization, elctron collection efficiency, and gain to signal formation. The simulation are good agreement with experimental data.
Positional single photon incidence response (P-SPIR) theory is researched in this paper to generate more accurate PSF-contained system matrix simply and quickly. The method has been proved highly effective improve the spatial resolution by applying Eplus-260 primate PET designed Institute of High Energy Physics Chinese Academy Sciences(IHEP).Simultaneously, meet clinical needs, GPU acceleration put use.Basically, P-SPIR takes both angle position crystal subdivision instead only into...
We have built and investigated a detector module for animal SPECT imaging, especially use in large field of view (FOV) conditions. The consists PMT-based parallel-hole collimator with an effective area 80 mm×80 mm. is composed NaI scintillation crystal array coupled to four H8500 position sensitive photomultiplier tubes (PS-PMT). intrinsic energy resolution the 11.5% at 140 keV on average. planar spatial changes from 2.2 mm 5.1 different source-to-collimator distances unchanged sensitivity...
In this work, we propose a new positron annihilation lifetime spectrum measuring method for pulsed positrons. The spatially arranged burst detection system is based on state-of-the-art calcium-doped LYSO crystal and silicon photomultiplier array, with readout by multichannel fast waveform digitizing DRS4 chip; simultaneously provides high efficiency decent timing resolution. The generation signal serves as the starting trigger of all detector channels stopping signal, so that time spread...
An instrument used for measuring multiple scintillators’ light output and energy resolution was developed. The consisted of a sensor array which composed 64 discrete SiPMs (Silicon Photomultipliers), corresponding individual channel readout electronics system, data processing algorithm. A Teflon grid large interval between adjacent were employed to eliminate the optical cross talk among scintillators. obtained by comparing with reference sample known output. Given SiPM temperature dependency...
