Abstract Tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy was used to record the space-and time-resolved number density of argon metastable atoms, Ar(1s 3 ) (Paschen notation), in plane-to-plane dielectric barrier discharges (DBDs) operated a Penning Ar–NH mixture at atmospheric pressure. In both low-frequency (LF 650 V, 50 kHz) and dual LF–radiofrequency (RF 190 5 MHz) α – γ mode, revealed single peak per half-period LF voltage, with rise decay times sub-microsecond time scale. These results...

Current–voltage characteristics, space- and time-resolved optical emission spectroscopy, 1D fluid modeling are used to examine the effect of dual-frequency sheath oscillations on ion electron transport in dielectric barrier discharges sustained by a combination low frequency (LF, 50 kHz, 650 V) radiofrequency (RF, 5.3 MHz, 195 voltages, exhibiting α-to-γ mode transition. On one hand, when polarities LF RF voltages opposite, an electric field near cathode (due sheath) drives secondary...

Abstract This work reports the results of an experimental and modeling study on dual-frequency Ar–NH 3 dielectric barrier discharges (DBDs) exhibiting α – γ transition. A combination space- time-resolved optical absorption emission spectroscopy is used to record spatio-temporal mappings Ar metastable number density, 750.4 nm line intensity, electron–Ar bremsstrahlung continuum intensity. With increase radio frequency (RF) voltage amplitude in a 50 kHz–5 MHz DBD, maximum populations excited...

A bstract Optimizing rabbit does preparation during early life to improve reproductive potential is a major challenge for breeders. Does selected reproduction have specific nutritional needs, which may not be supplied with the common practice of feed restriction rearing in commercial production. Nutrition was already known influence metabolism, and mammary gland development later life, particular pregnancy. The aim this study analyze impact four different feeding strategies females...

We performed a selection experiment to investigate the possibility improve resistance non-specific diseases in rabbits. The criterion was binary trait (healthy versus sick or dead) obtained from clinical signs of occurring naturally on farm. A herd 116 132 does and 30 bucks bred based this criterion. heritability 0.035±0.009. After four generations selection, genetic progress 1.5 standard deviation, indicating that breeding for general disease is feasible.
