Cerebral amyloid angiopathy-related inflammation (CAA-RI) and biopsy-positive primary angiitis of the CNS (BP-PACNS) have overlapping clinicoradiologic presentations. It is unknown whether clinical radiologic features can differentiate CAA-RI from BP-PACNS both diseases different relapse rates. The objectives this study were to compare presentations rates in patients with vs BP-PACNS.

To investigate in routine care the efficacy and safety of IV thrombolysis (IVT) with tenecteplase prior to mechanical thrombectomy (MT) patients large vessel occlusion acute ischemic strokes (LVO-AIS), either secondarily transferred after IVT or directly admitted a comprehensive stroke center (CSC).We retrospectively analyzed clinical procedural data treated 0.25 mg/kg within 270 minutes LVO-AIS who underwent brain angiography. The main outcome was 3-month functional independence (modified...

ABSTRACT Background To determine whether hierarchical unsupervised cluster analysis identifies a phenotypic distinction in adult patients with primary CNS vasculitis (PCNSV). Methods An agglomerative based on the Ward method was conducted, including 153 complete baseline characterization COVAC' registry. Results The identified two main clusters. In Cluster 1 ( n = 109 patients, 71%), more frequently had motor deficit p 0.039), ≥ acute brain infarct < 0.001), and intracranial stenosis CT...

This French multicenter retrospective cohort study aimed to describe the autoimmune manifestations (AIMs) associated with lymphoma among patients hospitalized between 2005 and 2016 in three University Hospitals. Among 2503 lymphoma, 108 (4.3%) had AIMs, mostly cytopenias (71.3%), neurological diseases (10.2%), kidney (6.5%), systemic vasculitis (5.6%) others. As compared 2395 without those AIMs were older (p = .01), more frequently B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia < .01) less diffuse...

Recent studies suggest that sleep disorders are present in two-thirds of patients with autoimmune encephalitis. In anti-Ma2 encephalitis, hypersomnia appears to be frequent. However, only few cases type 1 narcolepsy have been reported date We report 2 new secondary Patient 1, a 68-year-old man, had including attacks, cataplexy, abnormal Multiple Sleep Latency Tests and hypocretin-1 deficiency (< 50 ng/L) the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), associated cerebellar syndrome. Anti-Ma2 antibodies were...

There is limited evidence on when to obtain a central nervous system (CNS) biopsy in suspected primary angiitis of the (PACNS). Our objective was identify which clinical and radiological characteristics were associated with positive PACNS. From multicentre retrospective Cohort Patients Primary Vasculitis CNS (COVAC), we included adults PACNS based or otherwise unexplained intracranial stenoses additional findings supportive vasculitis. Baseline compared between patients negative using...

Purpose The DAWN trial (Diffusion weighted imaging or CT perfusion Assessment with clinical mismatch in the triage of Wake-up and late presenting strokes undergoing Neurointervention Trevo) has demonstrated benefits thrombectomy patients unknown onset strokes, using automated software (RAPID) for measurement infarct volume. Because RAPID is not available all centers, we aimed to assess accuracy repeatability visual volume estimation by clinicians consequences decisions based on criteria....
