In this study, nanocomposite active films were fabricated containing silver nanoparticles (SNPs) embedded within soy protein isolate (SPI)/Persian gum (PG) matrices. The physical, mechanical, and antibacterial properties of these composite then characterized. addition, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD) used to provide information about the microstructure, interactions, crystallinity films. Pure SPI had poor...
As tetracycline antibiotics were used in the poultry sector, their residue edible animal products may adversely affect food safety and human health. The development of selective sensitive sensors has garnered a lot interest due to complexity samples. Therefore, fluorescent sensing probe based on chromium(III)-metal-organic framework was developed for rapid detection tetracycline. After addition tetracycline, blue emission at λem 410 nm effectively quenched by interaction between TC...
Today, smart indicators especially based on pigments and natural biopolymers have developed significantly in laboratory industrial scale. In addition to tracking the freshness spoilage of product, these intelligent systems inform consumer about quality packaged product without opening package. On other hand, they reduce food waste minimize poisoning. this study, two halochromic were constructed by encapsulating saffron petal barberry anthocyanins gelatin/chitin nanofiber films for indication...
Summary This study introduces a novel intelligent film based on chitosan (Ch) incorporated with new natural dye of red poppy as colorimetric sensor for the real‐time detection shrimp freshness. The colour changeability anthocyanins (RPAs) in pH range 2–12 was confirmed by UV–vis spectra. indicator can respond to ammonia vapour, changing RPAs (brown/light yellow dark brown) over time. films' light screening, tensile strength and antioxidant properties after addition show an increase....
Summary This study aimed to produce an intelligent gelatin film containing chitosan nanofibre (CNF) and β‐cyclodextrin/corn poppy complex (β‐CD/CP) monitor shrimp spoilage. The crystalline properties, surface morphology chemical structure of the films were characterised. results showed that addition CNF caused appearance a new peak at 2θ = 12.16° improved properties film. According Fourier Transform Infrared (FT‐IR) results, interactions formed between β‐CD/CP complex. Also, significantly (...
