Dendritic cell (DC) vaccines have shown antitumor activity in experimental glioma models and human patients. The typical approach has been to generate the vaccine ex vivo, by pulsing DCs with tumor lysate or peptides, then administering back into patient. This process requires significant expertise expenses DC generation. Immature which present antigens T cells absence of appropriate costimulatory signals can lead induction immune tolerance. Recent studies that coadministration toll-like...

ABSTRACT Background The safety and immunogenicity of heterologous prime-boost COVID-19 vaccine regimens with one shot a recombinant adenovirus type-5-vectored Convidecia has not been reported. Methods We conducted randomized, controlled, observer-blinded trial immunization CoronaVac in healthy adults 18-59 years age. Eligible participants who were primed or two doses randomly assigned at 1:1 ratio to receive booster dose CoronaVac. Participants masked the received but three-dose two-dose...

This paper reported firstly successful cloning of lycopene ε-cyclase (IbLCYe) gene from sweetpotato, Ipomoea batatas (L.) Lam. Using rapid amplification cDNA ends (RACE), IbLCYe was cloned sweetpotato cv. Nongdafu 14 with high carotenoid content. The 1 805 bp sequence contained a 236 open reading frame (ORF) encoding 411 amino acids polypeptide molecular weight 47 kDa and an isoelectric point (pI) 6.95. protein one potential domain FAD (flavinadenine dinucleotide)/NAD(P) (nicotinamide...

Bacillus anthracis (B. anthracis) is the etiological agent of anthrax affecting both humans and animals. Anthrax toxin (AT) plays a major role in pathogenesis. It includes lethal (LT) edema (ET), which are formed by combination protective antigen (PA) factor (LF) or (EF), respectively. The currently used human vaccine China utilizes live-attenuated B. spores (A16R; pXO1+, pXO2−) that produce but cannot capsule. toxins, especially LT, have key effects on immunogenicity toxicity vaccines....

Streptococcus thermophilus MN-BM-A02 was originally isolated from a traditional fermented dairy product in China. The characteristics of this bacterium are its high acid-producing rate and low post-acidification. This study presents the genome sequence MN-BM-A02. Its complete comprises 2,025 genes 1,850,434 nucleotides with an average G+C content 39%.

In this study, we evaluate the performance of enzyme‐linked immunosorbent assays (ELISAs) for HCV Ag detection in diagnosis and antiviral therapy management infections. For an active infection, limit corresponding to RNA level was approximately 7300 IU/mL; sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), negative (NPV) HCV‐Ag were 88.96, 100, 91.33%, respectively. The Pearson's correlation coefficient between 0.891. All patients with at interferon‐α2α/ribavirin week 1 achieved a...
