We report on the measurement of γp→J/ψp cross section from E_{γ}=11.8 GeV down to threshold at 8.2 using a tagged photon beam with GlueX experiment. find that total falls toward less steeply than expected two-gluon exchange models. The differential dσ/dt has an exponential slope 1.67±0.39 GeV^{-2} 10.7 average energy. LHCb pentaquark candidates P_{c}^{+} can be produced in s channel this reaction. see no evidence for them and set model-dependent upper limits their branching fractions...
We perform a global fit of electroweak data within the Standard Model, using state-of-the art experimental and theoretical results, including determination electromagnetic coupling at scale based on recent lattice calculations. In addition to posteriors for all parameters observables obtained from fit, we present indirect determinations predictions observables. Furthermore, full predictions, only information Model parameters, fully data. Finally, discuss in detail compatibility with find p-value 0.5.
We report on the measurement of beam asymmetry $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Sigma}}$ for reactions $\stackrel{P\vec}{\ensuremath{\gamma}}p\ensuremath{\rightarrow}p\ensuremath{\eta}$ and $\stackrel{P\vec}{\ensuremath{\gamma}}p\ensuremath{\rightarrow}p{\ensuremath{\eta}}^{\ensuremath{'}}$ from GlueX experiment using an 8.2--8.8-GeV linearly polarized tagged photon incident a liquid hydrogen target in Hall D at Jefferson Laboratory. These measurements are made as function momentum transfer...
We report measurements of the photon beam asymmetry $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Sigma}}$ for reaction $\stackrel{P\vec}{\ensuremath{\gamma}}p\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}^{+}{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Sigma}}}^{0}$(1193) using GlueX spectrometer in Hall D at Jefferson Lab. Data were collected by a linearly polarized energy range 8.2--8.8 GeV incident on liquid hydrogen target. The was measured as function Mandelstam variable $t$, and single value extracted events produced $u$ channel. These are first...
Brachytherapy is a radiotherapy modality where the radioactive material placed close to tumor, being common treatment for skin, breast, gynecological and prostate cancers. These treatments can be of low-dose-rate, using isotopes with mean energy 30 keV, or high-dose-rate, such as 192Ir 380 keV. Currently these are performed in most cases without in-vivo dosimetry quality control assurance. We developed dosimeter small diameter probes that inserted into patient's body standard...
