Electrohydrodynamic inkjet printing of reduced graphene oxide (RGO) is demonstrated to form complex geometric devices with high resolution (line width ≈ 5 mm). Both planar and highly curved surfaces (radius curvature 60 mm) can be used as substrates. Demonstrations counterfeit coin recognition using RGO patterns all-printed transistors suggest substantial promise for applications in security electronics.

III–V/Si epitaxial tandems with a 1.7-eV GaAsP top cell promise stable power conversion efficiencies above the fundamental limit of Si single-junction cells. However, have suffered from limited minority carrier diffusion length in cell, leading to reduced short-circuit current densities (JSC) and efficiencies. While conventional wisdom dictates that dislocation density must be boost efficiency, here, we show heterointerface design growth sequence also play critical roles reducing...

Brushless permanent magnet DC motors are being manufactured and used increasingly in everything from home appliances to automobiles due their inherent advantages. The merits of these could be enhanced further according another design approach method which alters the typically winding parts for low medium power range motors. This paper deals with high brushless motor traction a 48 V golf cart system. stator is designed segment rectangular copper maximize output within its limited dimensions....

Permanent magnet (PM) synchronous motors (PMSMs) have been used to drive a number of vehicles. They high torque density, efficiency, and wide speed range. However, the cost PMs is disadvantageous. This paper presents technique for increasing density by modifying shape minimizing volume. The PM characteristics such as flux demagnetizing force, energy product, air-gap are represented lumped magnetic equivalent circuit when thickness width increased same volume but with different shapes....

In this study, the losses due to time-harmonic current in a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) are calculated through co-analysis of time harmonics using space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) inverter. PMSM is typically used as control motor. The contains because inverter voltage not sinusoidal, and result, occur. These have negative effect on performance, which vulnerable heat. Therefore, for efficiency performance evaluation PMSM, it necessary consider harmonics. we present...
