Abstract As a promising surface treatment technique, low‐temperature plasma (LTP) technology has been widely used over the past two decades. Herein, modification of carbon materials using LTP is reviewed to clarify effects. First, basic details are summarized. Second, morphology, pore structure, chemistry, adsorption performance, and catalytic characteristics LTP‐treated reviewed. Finally, research required further develop for discussed. This review will contribute toward advancing...

In order to make porous carbon nanomaterial more suitable for the adsorption thermal energy storage field, it is necessary modify enhance water vapor capacity. This work investigated influence of anionic surfactant sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate (SDBS) modification on physicochemical properties coffee-shell nanomaterials (CCNMs). The were characterized. Water isotherm, thermodynamics, and kinetics analyzed investigate further behavior over CCNMs. results suggest that highest capacity...

Abstract The aim of this study was to investigate the effects preemptive analgesia on inflammatory response and rehabilitation in TKA. 75 patients with unilateral primary knee osteoarthritis were conducted prospective study. All randomly divided into two groups (MMA with/without group). following parameters used evaluate analgesic efficacy: flexion, pain at rest walking, functional walking capacity (2 MWT 6 MWT), WOMAC score hs-CRP level. Patients MMA group had lower level less during first...

Abstract Background Visceral hypersensitivity occurs in irritable bowel syndrome ( IBS ), particularly women. Serotonin signaling, including reduced serotonin transporter SERT ) expression, may be disrupted patients. We studied gene knockout KO rats to determine if they exhibited sex‐related alterations visceral sensitivity. Methods measured the colonic mucosa using HPLC and amperometric microelectrode techniques. sensitivity was assessed electromyographic visceromotor response VMR...

Inhibitory neurotransmission to the longitudinal muscle is more prominent in neonatal than adult guinea pig ileum.Inhibitory neuromuscular transmission was investigated using vitro ileal myenteric plexus (LMMP) preparations made from (< or =48 h postnatal) and ( approximately 4 weeks pigs.Amperometric measurements of nicotine-induced nitric oxide (NO) release (measured as an oxidation current) ganglia revealed larger currents (379 +/- 24 pA) vs (119 39 pA, P < 0.05) tissues. Nicotine-induced...
