Abstract Flonicamid (IKI220; N ‐cyanomethyl‐4‐trifluoromethylnicotinamide), a pyridinecarboxamide compound, is novel systemic insecticide with selective activity against hemipterous pests, such as aphids and whiteflies, thysanopterous pests. The purpose of this study to clarify the biological properties flonicamid aphids. very active aphids, regardless differences in species, stages morphs. This compound inhibited feeding behaviour within 0.5 h treatment without noticeable poisoning symptoms...

PURPOSE Adjuvant anti–PD-1 (adj PD-1) antibodies are extensively used to improve survival in patients with resected melanoma. Clinical trials on adj PD-1 have revealed significant improvements recurrence-free (RFS); however, few of these included acral melanoma (AM). METHODS data were retrospectively collected from Japanese who underwent resection stage III sole AM between 2014 and 2021. Survival outcomes, including RFS, distant metastasis-free (DMFS), overall (OS), compared without adjuvant...

A major pathogenic factor for catamenial pneumothorax is thoracic endometriosis. However, endometriosis-related (TERP) can develop as either or non-catamenial (CP). Therefore, the aim of this study was to elucidate clinical differences between and TERP.The pathological data in female patients who underwent video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery at Pneumothorax Research Center during an 8-year period were retrospectively reviewed. This included 150 with surgico-pathologically confirmed TERP....

Previous trials with various treatments have not shown satisfactory therapeutic results for cutaneous metastasis of malignant melanoma (MM). We report three patients who were treated peritumoral injection interferon (IFN)-beta multiple skin metastases MM. The metastatic tumours infiltrated by significant numbers CD8+ TIA+ cytotoxic lymphocytes, and the CD4+ cells human leucocyte antigen-DR+ increased after IFN-beta injection. These suggest that administration enhanced antitumour immune...

Abstract Because nivolumab significantly prolongs survival in patients with metastatic melanoma, enhancing its antitumor immune response is of great interest to dermato‐oncologists. In this report, we describe two cases melanoma successfully treated combination contact immunotherapy, using sensitizing agents, such as squaric acid dibutylester and diphencyprone. addition, immunohistochemical staining supported one the possible mechanisms therapy. Our present suggested a therapy for immunotherapy.

The efficacy of nivolumab is greater than that other anti-melanoma drugs, so nivolumab-based combined therapies enhance anti-tumor immune responses in patients with metastatic melanoma are great interest to dermato-oncologists. As we have previously reported, IFN-β enhances the response anti-PD-1 antibodies against B16F10 vivo. To explore potential this property as part a combination therapy for treatment patients, performed phase 1 trial, using traditional rule-based 3 + design, on advanced...

Eccrine porocarcinoma is a rare type of skin cancer that originates from eccrine sweat glands or acrosyringium and mainly occurs in the elderly. In this report, we describe an 85-year-old Japanese woman with metastasized to cervical lymph node who was cured CyberKnife radiosurgery. Because our patient had high risk perioperative complication, standard surgical therapy wide margin impractical. Our present study suggests novel possibility using for treatment inoperable metastatic porocarcinoma.
