This study will provide genetic resource to clarify taxonomic position genus Lasiopodomys.
Abstract Leopoldamys edwardsi is a species with wide distribution ranges in southern China but not discussed studies on geographic variation and differentiation. We used 2 mitochondrial ( Cytb, CO1 ) 3 nuclear GHR, IRBP RAG1 genes to clarify phylogeography geographical Maximum likelihood (ML) Bayesian phylogenetic inference (BI) trees consistently indicated that L. complex containing main lineages high Kimura‐2‐parameter (K2P) divergences (i.e. L N , S HN found the northern Hainan Island,...
Abstract Predicting MHC-II restricted epitopes across species used to be challenging, but Alphafold (AF) may provide a structure-based pan-prediction solution. In this study, we established the new tool AF-pred with clear standard for quantitative prediction results. Compared sequence-based tools heavily trained human ligandome, does not show advantage in predicting binding patterns of HLA-II has far better performance other animals’ MHC-II. Using recently resolved bat structures, analyzed...
Acute pancreatitis (AP) is a highly fatal pancreatic inflammation. In recent years, synthetic nanoparticles have been extensively developed as drug carriers to address the challenges of systemic adverse reactions and lack specificity in delivery. However, systemically administered nanoparticle therapy rapidly cleared from circulation by mononuclear phagocyte system (MPS), leading suboptimal concentrations inflamed tissues pharmacokinetics. To this challenge, we herein demonstrate surface...
The complete mitochondrial genome of Petaurista hainana from Hainan Island China is 16,502 bp in length. Similar to most other mammals, it contains 13 protein-coding genes, 2 rRNAs, 22 tRNAs and non-coding regions. overall base composition the H-strand 31.77% A, 26.31% C, 13.31% G 28.61% T. clearly showed A-T skew. P. presented this report will be useful for species designation, conservation phylogenetic study Sciuridae.

In this study, the complete mitochondrial genome of Inez's red-backed vole Caryomys inez was sequenced and analyzed as first species in genus Caryomys. The C. is 16,354 bp length shows a typical vertebrate pattern with 13 PCGs, 22 tRNAs, 2 rRNAs non-coding regions. To gain clear phylogenetic position inez, ML tree constructed based on 12 PCGs H-strand from 23 rodent except for ND6 gene which L-strand. As result, clustered genera Eothenomys Myodes, showing their close relationships. present...
Murina huttoni rubella is a common species in China, with medium forearm length and reddish brown hairs. In this study, based on male M. h. individual from Jiangxi, its complete mitochondrial genome was sequenced analyzed. The 16,707 bp length, including 22 tRNA genes, two rRNA 13 protein-coding genes control region. composition arrangement of are similar to other bats. Phylogenetic trees that covered all released bats were constructed using Bayesian Inference maximum likelihood methods....
AbstractThe complete mitochondrial genome of the greater bandicoot rat (Bandicota indica) was first sequenced and characterized. The 16 326 bp in length, composition arrangement its genes were analogous to other rodents. To confirm phylogenetic position B. indica, nucleotide sequence data 20 Rodentia species used construct tree by maximum likelihood. Phylogenetic analysis demonstrated that genera Bandicota Rattus sister taxa, indica closer genus than Niviventer Leopoldamys. presented this...
In this study, we report the nearly complete mitochondrial genome of a Chinese pygmy dormouse Typhlomys cinereus (Rodentia: Platacanthomyidae). The 15,011 bp is consisted 13 protein-coding genes, 16S rRNA, 21 tRNAs, partial 12S rRNA and control region. A phylogenetic tree was built using 12 genes 19 species from Dipodoidea Muroidea. Our result shows that T. represents earliest split within would contribute to further study phylogeny in Muroidea Rodentia.
Seasonal H3N2 influenza virus, known for its rapid evolution, poses a serious threat to human health. This study focuses on analyzing the virus trends in Jining City (2018-2023) and understanding evolving nature of strains. Data influenza-like cases were gathered from City's sentinel hospitals: First People's Hospital Rencheng Maternal Child Health Hospital, using Chinese Influenza Surveillance Information System. Over period 2018 2023, 7844 throat swab specimens assessed real-time...
<title>Abstract</title> Cnidarians, an ecologically and culturally significant group, possess mitochondrial genomes that exhibit several features deviating from conventional textbook descriptions. In this study, we analyzed across various cnidarian orders, revealing variation in gene rearrangement patterns. Notably, found Anthozoa exhibits highly variable arrangements despite slow evolutionary rates, while Hydrozoa demonstrates relatively high levels of coupled with faster molecular...

The mitochondrial genome (mitogenome) is a powerful tool that extensively used in genomic and phylogenetic analysis. In this study, the complete mitogenome of toothed top shell snail (Monodonta labio) has been sequenced annotated for first time. circular 16,440 bp length including 13 protein-coding genes, 22 transfer RNA two ribosomal genes. All genes use standard initiation codon ATN are terminated by termination codons TAA TAG. tRNA have typical clover leaf structure, with exception...
The complete mitochondrial genome of black giant squirrel (Ratufa bicolor) from Hainan Island was sequenced and characterized in detail. 16,563 bp composed 13 protein-coding genes, 22 tRNAs, 2 rRNAs non-coding regions. R. bicolor presented this report will be useful for species identification, conversation clarifying the controversial taxonomic status genus Ratufa.
Abstract Motivation Cancer is caused by the accumulation of somatic mutations in multiple pathways, which driver are typically properties high coverage and exclusivity patients. Identifying cancer genes has a pivotal role understanding mechanisms oncogenesis treatment. Results Here, we introduced MaxCLK, an algorithm for identifying genes, was developed integrated analysis mutation data protein–protein interaction (PPI) networks further improved information entropy index. Tested on pancancer...
Current explosive outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is posing serious threats to public health and economics around world. To clarify coupling mechanism between this disease economic development, a new dynamical system established by ordinary differential equations (ODEs). It theoretically proved that basic reproduction number nonlinear combination parameters regarding transmission, intervention economy effect, which totally determines stability disease-free endemic...

Accurate species delimitation in Lepus was often hindered by highly conserved morphology and frequent introgression. In this study, we used rigorous molecular methods to evaluate the taxonomic status of Hainan hare (Lepus hainanus) which has been traditionally identified as a distinct species, or subspecies Burmese (L. peguensis). The genetic distance phylogenetic network support L. hainanus peguensis are conspecific. However, concept Bayesian analysis based on combined mtDNA supported they...
