Abstract The past century has witnessed a large number of reports on the Z / E isomerization alkenes. However, vast majority them are still limited to di- and tri-substituted stereospecific tetrasubstituted alkenes remains be an underdeveloped area, thus lacking in stereodivergent synthesis axially chiral Herein we report atroposelective alkene analogues by asymmetric allylic substitution-isomerization, followed their via triplet energy transfer photocatalysis. In this regard, N...

Promoters for the expression of heterologous genes in Halomonas bluephagenesis are quite limited, and many promoters function abnormally this strain. Pporin, a promoter strongest expressed protein porin H. bluephagenesis, is one few available yet it has fixed transcriptional activity that cannot be tuned. A stable library with wide range activities urgently needed. This study reports an approach to construct based on Pporin core region, namely, from -35 box transcription start site, spacer...

As a product of multistep enzymatic reaction, accumulation poly(3-hydroxybutyrate) (PHB) in Escherichia coli (E. coli) can be achieved by overexpression the PHB synthesis pathway from native producer involving three genes phbC, phbA, and phbB. Pathway optimization adjusting expression levels influence properties final product. Here, we reported semirational approach for highly efficient E. based on phbCAB operon cloned Ralstonia entropha (R. entropha). Rationally designed ribosomal binding...

We propose that a Floquet Weyl semimetal state can be induced in three-dimensional topological insulators, either non-magnetic or magnetic, by the application of off-resonant light. The virtual photon processes play critical role renormalizing Dirac mass and so resulting with vanishing gap at points. present mechanism via light is quite different from on-resonant light, latter being recently suggested to give rise ordinary band insulators.

Microbial synthesis of functional polymers has become increasingly important for industrial biotechnology. For the first time, it became possible to synthesize controllable composition poly(3-hydroxyalkanoate) (P3HA) consisting 3-hydroxydodecanoate (3HDD) and phenyl group on side-chain when chromosome Pseudomonas entomophila was edited weaken its β-oxidation. Cultured in presence 5-phenylvaleric acid (PVA), P. produced only homopolymer poly(3-hydroxy-5-phenylvalerate) or P(3HPhV). While...

In this article, a cost-efficient explicit third-order upwind compact difference (UCD3) method with adjustable dissipation (EUCD3-AD) is proposed for the two-dimensional (2D) transient incompressible Navier–Stokes equations (INSEs) based on entropically damped artificial compressibility method. First of all, averaged UCD3 scheme (AUCD3), which results obtained by and downwind terms in existing standard scheme, introduced first derivatives. Afterward, new derivative within three-point...

Two distinct QHE regimes are identified full energy band separated by a critical region with nonquantized Effect.
