Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), has become a global pandemic worldwide. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are subclass of endogenous, non-protein-coding RNA, which lacks an open reading frame and is more than 200 nucleotides in length. However, the functions for lncRNAs COVID-19 have not been unravelled. The present study aimed at identifying related based on RNA sequencing peripheral blood mononuclear cells from...

CXCL11 has been reported to be up-regulated in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) tissues and cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs), CAF-secreted found promote HCC cell proliferation migration. Knowledge on how CAFs progression is imperative for the future design of anti-tumor drugs addressing high rates disease recurrence. Herein, we propose a mechanism by which LINC00152 positively regulates expression and, subsequently, phenotypes growth characteristics via miR-205-5p CAFs.

Background: Radiation-induced lung fibrosis (RILF) is a life-threatening complication of thoracic radiotherapy. Ferroptosis, recently discovered type cell death, believed to contribute RILF, though the associated mechanisms are unknown. This study aimed investigate potential mechanism ferroptosis in RILF and examine contribution different types during progression. Methods: Histopathological changes tissue were assessed through H&E Masson staining. IHC staining investigated markers (GPX4,...

Abstract Background: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most common causes cancer-related deaths. Recent studies have demonstrated that deregulation long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs), such as abnormal DNA methylation promoter, strongly associated with development and progression diverse malignant tumors. This study investigated mechanisms changes in levels promoter regions HCC-specific lncRNAs, alterations downstream target genes. Methods: LncRNA expression profile data 8 human HCC...
