The DNA methylation mediated by specific methyltransferases (DNMTs), results in the epigenetic silencing of multiple genes which are implicated human breast cancer. We hypothesized that natural compounds modulate expression DNMTs and their associated proteins cancer cell lines affect gene silencing. The transcript was analyzed reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) tumors adjacent normal tissues patients with invasive ductal carcinoma. tested hypothesis compounds, viz.,...

Cancer progression is linked to a partially dedifferentiated epithelial cell phenotype. The signaling pathways Wnt, Hedgehog, TGF-beta and Notch have been implicated in experimental developmental mesenchymal transition (EMT). Recent findings from our laboratory confirm that active Wnt/beta-catenin critically involved invasive ductal carcinomas (IDCs) of breast. In the current study, we analyzed expression patterns relationships between key components- E-cadherin, Slug GSK3beta IDCs breast.Of...

The lipase-producing strain, Arthrobacter sp. (ABL), isolated was immobilized in Ca-alginate beads by entrapment. alginate were prepared as an aqueous mixture of sodium alginate, the cells and CaCl 2 to increase its reusability, overall enzyme stability. Various parameters like concentration, lipase units loading bead size evaluated for optimum immobilization yield. It observed that with yield also increased up a limit. A similar pattern addition; concentrations 1.5% (w/v) 2%, respectively....

Breast cancer is the most common malignancy diagnosed in women worldwide. Triple-negative breast (TNBC) aggressive subtype, accounting for nearly one third of all cancers India. The addition pembrolizumab to neoadjuvant chemotherapy improved pathological response and event free survival patients with TNBC. However, low- middle-income countries, immunotherapy remains inaccessible due its high cost. Pharmacological early clinical data suggest that a lower dose may be effective. there are no...

AbstractBreast cancer is fast emerging as the leading amongst females, especially in young females metropolitan cities India. The epigenetic alterations involved onset and progression of breast may serve biomarkers for early detection prognosis disease. The Androgen Receptor (AR) has emerged as an endocrine therapy target in Breast Cancer, exhibiting up to 80% expression clinical cases. AR-V7, a constitutively activated splice variant of AR with truncated ligand-binding domain (LBD), demonstrates ligand-independent transcriptional activity and resistance nonsteroidal antiandrogens like Bicalutamide or Enzalutamide, targeting the LBD. In metastatic prostate cancer, elevated AR-V7 levels lead therapeutic increased metastasis. this study, we...
