Atezolizumab along with chemotherapy has prolonged the survival of patients extensive-stage small-cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC) worldwide, although real-world (RW) data are lacking in China. This study was designed to evaluate efficacy and clinical outcomes atezolizumab plus etoposide/platinum (EP).Data obtained this retrospective were captured from six oncology units five medical facilities January 2019 April 2022. For first-line treatments, combined EP vs. alone, we primarily evaluated...

Histone deacetylase inhibitors (HDACIs) inhibit human osteosarcoma growth and cause apoptosis. Previously, we reported that HDACIs induce autophagy via the FOXO1 pathway. Whether there is involvement of in anti-osteosarcoma activity still unknown.Confocal microscopy was performed to determine formation GFP-LC3 puncta. Western blotting conducted measure FOXO1, autophagy-related protein levels. Small interference RNA (siRNA) specific for transfected into U2OS cells knock down expression level....

ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate the effect of maintenance modified electroconvulsive therapy (MECT) on schizophrenic patients. Methods From June 2012 to 2014, 62 patients with schizophrenia, who had recovered from a successful course acute MECT, were recruited. Thirty-one received MECT and risperidone, as experimental group. Another 31 enrolled in control group, risperidone only. The effects cognitive functions, clinical symptoms relapse rate determined. Results Patients group lower longer...

The incidence of epidermal growth factor receptor uncommon mutation (EGFRum) is relatively low and patients harboring EGFRum are resistant to the first-generation tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKI). However, mechanism primary resistance remains unclear. Medical records 98 who had never been treated by TKI accepted icotinib treatment were collected followed. circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) detected analyzed using next-generation sequencing (NGS) platform after progression on icotinib. potential...

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common reproductive endocrine disease that affects women of age. It also significant cause infertility. Circular RNAs have been found to crucial role in the development and progression system diseases. In this study, we focused on circ_BECN1 aimed investigate its mechanism PCOS, providing foundation for early diagnosis treatment condition. Our findings revealed an upregulation expression ovarian granulosa cells (GCs) PCOS patients. Additionally,...

Oral lichen planus (OLP) is a chronic inflammatory oral mucosal disease in which comprehensive inflammation-related cytokines are involved. These commonly produced by immune cells and specific nonimmune including keratinocytes, endothelial fibroblasts. This raises the question of whether fibroblasts OLP lesions contribute to process upon simulation.Primary cultured lichen-planus-associated (OLP AFs, n = 5) normal buccal (NFs, were examined immunohistochemistry, Western blotting reverse...

N-acetylcysteine (NAC) reduces the cytotoxicity and genotoxicity induced by monomers leached from dental composite resins. Herein, we investigated effects of methacrylate-based resin cement used in implant restoration on apoptosis genotoxicity, as well antiapoptotic antigenotoxic capabilities its component, NAC.

Abstract The response to icotinib in advanced non‐small cell lung cancers (NSCLC) with EGFR uncommon mutation ( um) is unclear. Here we reported the efficacy and potential resistance mechanism of Chinese um NSCLC patients. Between July 2013 November 2016, 3117 patients were screened for a multi‐center study China. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) was detected analyzed using next‐generation sequencing (NGS) after progression from icotinib. efficacy, safety explored. After median follow‐up 6.2...

This study aims to elucidate the clinical efficacy of Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA) and Bioceramic Materials in pulpotomy procedures for early-stage chronic pulpitis deciduous teeth. The data 100 children with early teeth treated at our institution between January 2021 2023 were included retrospectively, which divided into an experimental group (n = 50) a control according treatment methods. Experimental received Thera Cal LC as bioceramic pulp-capping material versus MTA agent....

ABSTRACT This study withered lotus leaves as a precursor to prepare leaf biochar (LLBC) an activator for persulfates (PDS), targeting the oxidation and degradation of tetracycline (TC). Under neutral conditions, LLBC (LLBC = 20 mg, PDS 4 mM, TC 10 mg/L) exhibited best catalytic effect within 180 min, achieving 86.58% degradation. The LLBC/PDS system was tested in various water matrices, all over 70% removal. In continuous flow column experiments, removal efficiency 61.56%. results indicate...
