Ab initio quantum-chemical study of specific point contacts replisome proteins with DNA modeled by acetic acid canonical and mutagenic tautomers bases methylated at the glycosidic nitrogen atoms was performed in vacuo continuum a low dielectric constant (ϵ ∼ 4) corresponding to hydrophobic interface protein–nucleic interaction. All tautomerized complexes were found be dynamically unstable, because electronic energies their back-reaction barriers do not exceed zero-point vibrational...

A copper-promoted reductive homocoupling reaction, for the first time used a metal complex, allowed obtaining new kind of complexes with encapsulated ions, C–C conjugated bis-clathrochelates. These compounds demonstrate extremely high transcription inhibition activity in T7 RNA polymerase system values IC50 reaching as low submicromolar range, which places them among most potent metal-based inhibitors.

A novel enhanced fluorescent sensor system for zearalenone (ZON) determination in flour samples is presented. The ZON-selective molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) films were developed with a computational modelling method and synthesised cyclododecyl-2,4-dihydroxybenzoate as "dummy" template ethylene glycol methacrylate phosphate functional monomer acted the selective recognition elements ZON fluorescence detection. Spherical silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) embedded MIP films' structure to...

The Mn-TMPyP/KHSO5 system was used to oxidize guanine contained within a dinucleoside monophosphate d(GpT). To identify the oxidation product having mass with 4 amu above of itself, this relatively unstable compound reduced more stable one. ESI/MS and NMR data allowed us propose dehydro-guanidinohydantoin structure for (G+4) product.

An effective procedure for the synthesis of oligonucleotides by phosphotriester method has been developed. The is based on use phosphate protecting groups enabling O-nucleophilic intramolecular catalysis in reaction internucleotide bond formation under action arylsulfonyl chlorides and their derivatives. Using this new procedure, time needed to perform one elongation step polymer support 7-8 min. effectiveness methodology demonstrated many oligodeoxyribonucleotides different length with high yields.
