1,1′-Spirobiindane has been one type of privileged skeleton for chiral ligand design, and 1,1′-spirobiindane-based ligands have demonstrated outstanding performance in various asymmetric catalysis. However, the access to enantiopure spirobiindane is quite tedious, which obstructs its practical application. In present article, a facile enantioselective synthesis cyclohexyl-fused spirobiindanes accomplished, high yields excellent stereoselectivities (up >99% ee), via sequence Ir-catalyzed...

The π-bonds in unsaturated organic molecules are typically associated with having well-defined geometries that conserved across diverse structural contexts. Nonetheless, these can be distorted, leading to heightened reactivity of the π-bond. Although π-bond-containing compounds bent well utilized synthetic chemistry, corresponding leveraging display twisting or pyramidalization remains underdeveloped. We report a study perhaps most notorious class geometrically distorted contain π-bonds:...

The phenomenon of reflection is quite common in digital images, posing significant challenges for various applications such as computer vision, photography, and image processing. Traditional methods removal often struggle to achieve clean results while maintaining high fidelity robustness, particularly real-world scenarios. Over the past few decades, numerous deep learning-based approaches have emerged, yielding impressive results. In this survey, we conduct a comprehensive review current...

Water-soluble pillar[6]arene (WP6) was used to solubilize camptothecin family antitumor drugs. In the presence of WP6, solubility (CPT) and 10-hydroxycamptothecin (HCPT) enhanced by 380 40 times, respectively. The enhancement is proved be result host–guest encapsulation WP6. WP6 has a low cytotoxicity against normal MC 3T3-E1 cells, whereas bioactivity CPT HCPT substantially improved as enhancement.

Background: Traumatic spinal injury (TSI) is associated with significant fatality and social burden; however, the epidemiology treatment of patients TSI in US remain unclear. Materials methods: An adult population was selected from National Inpatient Sample database 2016 to 2019. incidence calculated TSI-related hospitalizations were divided into operative nonoperative groups according treatments received. TSIs classified as fracture, dislocation, internal organ injury, nerve root or sprain...

The conventional method to synthesize non-symmetric pillar[n]arenes (PA[n]s) generally results in a low yield and requires laborious isolation. We developed new synthetic prepare PA[5]s with various substitutions. Monomers were synthesized starting from commercially available chemicals. desired products could be easily isolated an improved yield.

ARPC1B encodes the protein known as actin-related 2/3 complex subunit 1 B (ARPC1B), which controls actin polymerization in human body. Although has been linked to several malignancies, its function these cancers remains unclear. TCGA, GTEx, CCLE, Xena, CellMiner, TISIDB, and molecular signature databases were used analyze expression cancers. Visualization of data was primarily achieved using R language, version 4.0. Nineteen tumors exhibited high levels expression, associated with different...

Spinal cord injury (SCI) is a catastrophic event with devastating physical, social and occupational consequences for patients their families. The number of acute SCI in China continues to grow rapidly, but there have been no large prospective cohort studies SCI. This proposed study aims establish multicentre, extensive sample clinical data biological samples China, which would aid the systematisation standardisation research treatment SCI, thus reducing heavy burden on society.

Image Super-Resolution (ISR), which aims at recovering High-Resolution (HR) images from the corresponding Low-Resolution (LR) counterparts. Although recent progress in ISR has been remarkable. However, they are way too computationally intensive to be deployed on edge devices, since most of approaches deep learning based. Besides, these methods always fail real-world scenes, them adopt a simple fixed "ideal" bicubic downsampling kernel high-quality construct LR/HR training pairs may lose...
