Calcium silicate (CS) is a suitable substrate for bone tissue engineering because it can provide bioactive ions like Si4+ and Ca2+ to promote regeneration. However, the rapid degradation of CS leads pH problems does not match rate osteogenesis. The 3D printed scaffolds were immersed in Polycaprolactone (PCL) solution obtain PCL-coated with improved mechanical biological properties. Finite element method (FEM) analysis found that PCL impregnation has effect stress shielding defect healing,...

Wetland vegetation is vital for ecological purification and climate mitigation. This study analyzes the spatiotemporal characteristics influencing factors of water areas, fractional cover (FVC), land use types in Poyang Lake wetland across wet dry seasons (1990–2022) using remote sensing technology. The results showed that area remained overall stable during but decreased significantly (19.27 km2/a). FVC exhibited an increasing trend, with expanding from lake margins to central areas. areas...

Abstract Understanding the relationship between surface conditions and giant magneto-impedance (GMI) in Co-rich melt-extracted microwires is key to optimizing their magnetic responses for sensor applications. The domain structure (SMDS) parameters of ~45 μm diameter Co 69.25 Fe 4.25 Si 13 B 13.5-x Zr x ( = 0, 1, 2, 3) microwires, including period d ) roughness R q as extracted from force microscopy (MFM) images, have been correlated with GMI range 1–1000 MHz. It was found that substitution 1...

As a rapid, noncontact, and nondestructive technology, magnetostrictive guided waves have been widely used for the quality inspection of pipes stay cables. Traditionally, single-frequency signal with high amplitude long pulse duration is to increase excitation energy detection distance. However, longer is, lower resolution adjacent defects accuracy defect location will be. A novel method addressing this problem proposed in paper. An encoded multifrequency signal, whose frequency range...

Noble gas atoms such as Kr and Xe are byproducts of nuclear fission in plants. How to trap confine these volatile even radioactive gases is particularly challenging. Recent studies have shown that they can be trapped nanocages ultrathin silica. Here, we exhibit with self-consistent phonon theory four-phonon (4ph) scattering where the adsorption noble results an anomalous increase lattice thermal conductivity (κL), while presence Cu doping leads a reduction κL. We trace this behavior...

X-ray diffraction (XRD), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), magnetic measurement including impedance were used for investigating the microstructure and properties of as-prepared alternating current Joule annealed (ACJA) Co-rich amorphous microwires potential sensor applications. Experimental results indicated that as-cast ACJA wires both characteristic, while wire has an enhanced local ordering degree atom arrangement. There was a transform after treatment, namely...

Objective: To establish a new gestational age estimation equation in China and compare them with commonly used equations of 2017 1984. Methods: A prospective cross-sectional study was performed 3208 fetuses between 15 40 weeks gestation. The following biometric variables were recorded: biparietal diameter, head circumference, abdominal femur length. Women certain confirmed by the last menstrual period regular cycle 26-32 days. Subsequently, mixed regression model for analysis age....

Because of loss cross-sectional area pipes and ropes caused by corrosion mechanical damage, the maximum stress structural strength material will be greatly reduced. In order to avoid failure, it is important intelligently measure rate material. The traditional methods measuring residual thickness are based on contact measurement method, so efficiency low not suitable for long time health monitoring structure. This paper proposes a novel method solve this problem. Magnetostrictive sensors...
