Hollow carbon dots (HCDs), as drug carriers, and doxorubicin (DOX), a model drug, were selected to prepare HCDs-DOX-loading system. First, HCDs prepared by hydrothermal method characterized transmission electron microscopy (TEM), powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), nuclear magnetic resonance (13C NMR), UV-vis absorption, Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) photoelectron spectroscopies (XPS). The then used load DOX. drug-loading system of HCDs-DOX was zeta potential measurements, absorption...

Four dinuclear trivalent lanthanide complexes of the general formula [Ln2(2-Br-5-MOBA)6(phen)2] (Ln = Nd(), Sm(), Ho(), Er(); 2-Br-5-MOBA 2-bromine-5-methoxybenzoate, phen 1,10-phenanthroline) were prepared and structurally characterized. The to are isostructural with a coordination number nine. carboxylic acid ligands adopt bridging, bidentate chelating, tridentate chelating bridging modes coordinate Ln(iii) ions. structures confirmed on basis elemental analysis, molar conductance,...
Iron deficiency in children can have significant neurological consequences, and iron supplementation is an effective treatment of choice. However, traditional routes do not allow efficient delivery to the brain due presence blood-brain barrier. So easily delivered formulation with high absorption efficiency potentially could find widespread application deficient infants. In this study, we developed characterized a nanovesicular ferric ammonium citrate (ferric nanoliposomes, FAC-LIP) shown...
Chronic intermittent hypoxia (CIH) could cause neuronal damage, accelerating the progression of dementia. However, safe and effective therapeutic drugs delivery are needed for successful CIH therapy.

Heteroatom-doping carbon dots (CDs) have excellent fluorescence properties. In the paper, nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) co-doped CDs (N, P-CDs) were prepared through hydrothermal method characterized by TEM, PXRD, FT-IR, 13C NMR, XPS, UV–vis, spectra. The optical properties drug (doxorubicin) - delivery performance of N, P-CDs also studied. results showed that average size was 3.64 nm quantum yield 30 %. had down- up-conversion properties, luminescence mechanism explained. loading capacity...
In the temperature range of 280 to 350 K, there is a solid-to-solid phase transition for each complex, which further evidenced by four thermal circulating processes with scanning rate 10 K min−1.
