The thermomechanical properties of a thin film shape memory polymer polyurethane series were investigated experimentally. Based on the experimental results, dynamic mechanical properties, cyclic deformation at high temperature, cycling creep and stress relaxation are discussed. fixity with loading above glass transition temperature followed by unloading below does not change under cycling. residual strain is recovered in vicinity during heating process. Several applications introduced.
Measurements of the field-effect mobility electrons in $n$-type inversion layers Si as functions crystalline orientation surface and azimuthal direction current path within are reported. Significant anisotropy observed over a range strong electric fields perpendicular to at temperatures from 77 320 \ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}K contrasts substantially with that case $p$-type reported previously. The room temperature can be successfully interpreted terms effective-mass calculated on...
Experimental results are reported concerning the anisotropy of surface state density, N s , 1/ f -type equivalent noise voltaze, V and field effect mobilitv, µ F E in p -channel MOS transistors with various crystallographic orientations <011> <001> zones. The amounts strongly correlated to each other, both appear be smallest around (811)-oriented surfaces. under strong electric normal shows no apparent correlation but is markedly dependent on direction current flow except (111)...
Despite the recent improvements in multimodal therapies for oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC), prognosis remains poor. The identification of suitable biomarkers predicting and chemo-sensitivity is required to develop targeted treatments improve treatment results.Proteins highly expressed ESCC lines compared with normal were screened by isobaric tag relative absolute quantitation (iTRAQ). We identified glypican-1 (GPC1) as a novel molecule. clinicopathological characteristics GPC1...
A charge pumping method is proposed for the direct measurement of hot-carrier-induced fixed near drain junction p-MOSFETs. By holding rising and falling slopes gate pulse constant then varying highest lowest levels, local threshold flatband voltages are readily obtained. The spatial distribution charges directly calculated from changes that occur in these curves after application stress. This quite simple and, specifically, requires no information about impurity concentrations substrate....
Results of an experimental study are reported a new instability found in p - and n -channel MOS transistors. This phenomenon is that when higher voltage excess brakdown applied to the drain electrode breakdown drifts value current also increases. The origin this investigated by extensive measurements analyses electrical characteristics It concluded 1) semiconductor surface near becomes -like transistors thus active channel length shortened, 2) caused charging gate oxide due injection...
Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) has a poor prognosis despite the development of multimodal therapy. Expression glypican-1 (GPC1) been reported to be elevated in subset patients with ESCC and associated chemoresistance. This study aimed determine association GPC1 growth potential usefulness targeted therapy by monoclonal antibody (mAb) ESCC. was higher tumor tissues than adjacent non-tumoral normal tissues. Knockdown decreased cells induced apoptosis via inhibition EGFR, AKT...
Flexible endoscopes ability to manipulate the intestinal environment is limited. As a result, complex endolumenal procedures are often technically demanding and result in long procedure times, impacting institutional resources. Single- double-balloon add-on endoscopic devices have been employed throughout GI tract facilitate tissue control e.g., small bowel enteroscopy, with recent reports suggesting possible colonic utility for ESD. Our objective was objectively analyze efficacy of new...
Abstract Background Pancreatic cancer (PDAC) is the most lethal malignancy. New treatment options for it are urgently required. The aim was to develop an antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) targeting glypican-1 (GPC-1) as a new therapy PDAC. Methods We evaluated GPC-1 expression in resected PDAC specimens and cell lines. then measured antitumour effect of anti-GPC-1 monoclonal antibody conjugated with cytotoxic agent monomethyl auristatin F (MMAF) vitro vivo. Results overexpressed primary cells...
Sclerosing angiomatoid nodular transformation (SANT) is a rare, benign lesion of the spleen. Preoperative diagnosis SANT without pathological examination poses significant challenges, particularly in patients with previous history malignancy. The present study describes case 53-year-old woman that presented to our institution general fatigue and anemia. Based on rectal cancer, patient underwent curative surgery. Postoperatively, minor leakage need for endoluminal drainage, was monitored...
Chronic inflammation is involved in cancer growth esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC), which a highly refractory with poor prognosis. This study investigated the antitumor effect and mechanisms of SOCS1 gene therapy for ESCC. Patients ESCC showed epigenetics silencing by methylation CpG islands. We infected 10 cells an adenovirus-expressing (AdSOCS1) to examine mechanism overexpression. overexpression markedly decreased proliferation all lines induced apoptosis. Also, inhibited via...
Suppressor of cytokine signaling1 (SOCS1) is a negative regulator various cytokines. Recently, it was investigated as therapeutic target in cancers. However, the observed antitumour effects SOCS1 cannot not be fully explained without taking inhibition proliferation signalling into account. Our aim to discover new mechanism for gastric cancer (GC). We analysed effect vitro. In addition, we evaluated GC using xenograft peritoneal carcinomatosis mouse model preclinical setting. confirmed that...
<b><i>Background:</i></b> Recent studies have reported that the occurrence of postoperative complications after esophagectomy for esophageal cancer has a negative impact on long-term survival. Although salvage is associated with higher rates morbidity and mortality, survival following not been fully investigated. <b><i>Methods:</i></b> We retrospectively analyzed 73 patients thoracic who underwent between January 1997 December 2017 definitive...
Abstract Aim Dysphagia is one of the most common complications after esophagectomy. However, no study has investigated long‐term postoperative outcomes in patients with dysphagia. Here, we aimed to identify risk factors for dysphagia and investigate such patients. Methods This included 304 consecutive thoracic esophageal cancer who underwent curative They were diagnosed through a contrast videofluoroscopic swallowing study, compared based on function. Results In total, 112 (37%) Older age,...
Abstract Background Duke pancreatic mono-clonal antigen type 2 (DUPAN-II) is a famous tumour maker for cancer (PC) as well carbohydrate 19–9 (CA19-9). We evaluated the clinical implications of DUPAN-II levels biological indicator PC during preoperative chemoradiation therapy (CRT). Methods This retrospective analysis included data from 221 consecutive patients with resectable and borderline at diagnosis who underwent CRT between 2008 2017. focused on 73 elevated pre-CRT (> 230 U/mL; more...
