Carbon-deposited TiO2 (TiO2@C) was prepared with a one-pot hydrothermal process by using glucose as carbon source. The physical properties of TiO2@C were studied XRD, TG-DTA, HRTEM, and UV−vis diffuse reflectance spectra (DRS), while the chemical states discussed via X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). A graphite layer formed out grain during dehydration glucose, which consisted not only Cn but also C—OH (and C—O—C) C═O COO). has remarkable light absorption in visible region. It found...

Balancing the hardness and electrical conductivity of copper alloys within complex compositions processes poses a formidable challenge. This study proposes strategy combining machine learning with Pareto front techniques to identify optimal combinations composition processing for Cu-xTi (1.5 ≤ x 5.4, in wt.%) alloys. Through thermodynamic calculations, precipitation simulations, experimental characterizations, microstructural evolution β'-Cu4Ti precipitates designed was explored. The...

As a protective coating, electroless Ni-P (ENP) coating with various deposit times was fabricated on the carbon steel. The morphology, microstructure, and composition of ENP were investigated via SEM, AFM XRD. anti-corrosion capability mechanism exposed to chloride-contaminated simulated concrete pore solution (CL-SCPS) evaluated by OCP, potentiodynamic polarization, EIS, Mott-Schottky analysis. duration increased, Ni P content percentage compactness but "trenches" appeared. corrosion...

Abstract We identify member stars of more than 90 open clusters in the LAMOST survey. With method Fang et al., chromospheric activity (CA) indices, <?CDATA $\mathrm{log}{R}_{\mathrm{CaK}}^{{\prime} }$?> for 1091 82 and $\mathrm{log}{R}_{{\rm{H}}\alpha }^{{\prime} 1118 83 clusters, are calculated. The relations between average , each cluster its age investigated different T eff [Fe/H] ranges. find that CA starts to decrease slowly from log t = 6.70 8.50, then decreases rapidly until 9.53....

The particularly abundant presence of blue straggler stars (BSS) in Galactic open clusters offers favorable conditions for detailed studies on the statistical properties and origin population. With help Gaia DR3, number identified continuously increases, determination star cluster members is more reliable. We performed a thorough search BSS newly found based data. implemented uniform membership over one thousand with larger sky coverage astrometric photometric data from DR3. probabilities...

We report on searching for Classical B-type emission-line (CBe) stars in the first data release of Large Sky Area Multi-Object fiber Spectroscopic Telescope (LAMOST; also called Guo Shou Jing Telescope). A total 192 objects (including 12 previously known CBes) were identified as CBe candidates with prominent He I λ4387, λ4471 and Mg II λ4481 absorption lines, well Hβ λ4861 Hα λ6563 emission lines. These significantly increase currently sample CBes by about 8%. Most are distributed near...

Globular clusters (GCs), as old our Galaxy, constantly lose their members to the field they cross through Milky Way (MW). These escaped GC stars (or escapees) are thought contribute significantly MW halo. If a star left host long time ago, chemical finger prints (e.g., N enrichment) may reveal its origin. In this work we aim establish dynamical connections between N-rich recently identified by LAMOST and existing GCs. By constructing full action distribution in combination with metallicity,...

In this study, a stable alkyl ketene dimer (AKD) Pickering emulsion was obtained using chitosan and titanium dioxide (TiO2) as effective emulsifiers to disperse AKD. Superhydrophobic filter paper prepared, the substrate, by dipping it into AKD then drying coating papers at different temperature. The contact angle of treated dried 45 °C could reach more than 150°, these effectively separated oil–water mixtures with an efficiency over 93%. It is worth noting that preparation process...

A comprehensive understanding of the diffusion coefficients and atomic mobilities in Ti-Cr-Mo system is crucial for establishing an mobility database titanium-based high-strength titanium alloys. In present work, nine sets solid/solid couples were prepared measured bcc alloys, with temperatures ranging from 1373 to 1473 K. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Electro Probe Micro-Analysis (EPMA) techniques used respectively test its microstructure composition distance. The alloys determined...
