Neural networks engaged in high-frequency activity rely on sustained synaptic vesicle recycling and coordinated recruitment from functionally distinct (SV) pools. However, the molecular pathways matching neural to SV dynamics release requirements remain unclear. Here we identify unique roles of SNARE-binding Tomosyn1 (Tomo1) proteins as activity-dependent substrates that regulate pool partitioning at rat hippocampal synapses. Our analysis is based monitoring changes defined pools via...
Members of the Rab3 gene family are considered central to membrane trafficking synaptic vesicles at mammalian excitatory synapses. Recent evidence, however, indicates that Rab27B-GTPase, which is highly homologous family, also enriched on SV membranes and co-localize with Rab3A Synaptotagmin presynaptic terminals. While functional roles have been well-established, little information exists role Rab27B in transmission. Here we report effects SC-CA1 DG-MF hippocampal The data establish...
Clinical Presentation: A 52-year-old female with metastatic Stage IVB (T4N3M1c) lung adenocarcinoma presented worsening dyspnea. She had just completed her 3 rd round of carboplatin/pemetrexed/pembrolizumab/MK-5890 chemotherapy. Upon examination she was noted to be hypertensive and tachycardic an elevated high-sensitivity troponin T. ECG showed sinus tachycardia, left axis deviation, flattened T waves in lead V5 V6. In the ED, subsequently developed supraventricular tachycardia admitted ICU....
