Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most frequent cardiac arrhythmia and a major cause of morbidity mortality. Previous studies have established genetic defects as risk factor for AF in minority patients. However, substantial heterogeneity molecular determinants majority cases remain unclear. In this study, entire coding sequence splice junctions GATA4, which encodes zinc-finger transcription essential cardiogenesis, were sequenced 160 unrelated patients with lone AF. A total 200 ethnically...

OBJECTIVE:The aim of this study was to evaluate the prevalence and spectrum Nkx2.5 mutations associated with idiopathic atrial fibrillation (AF).METHODS: A cohort 136 unrelated patients 200 unrelated, ethnically matched healthy controls were enrolled. The coding exons splice junctions gene sequenced in patients, available relatives mutation carriers subsequently genotyped for identified mutations. The functional characteristics mutated analyzed using a dual-luciferase reporter assay...

<b><i>Objective:</i></b> Atrial remodeling is involved in atrial fibrillation (AF), and fibrosis an important marker of remodeling. On the basis our previous animal studies mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs)/transforming growth factor β1 (TGF-β1)/tumor necrosis pathway fibrosis, we undertook investigation this signaling patients with chronic AF (CAF) rheumatic mitral valve disease. <b><i>Methods:</i></b> Fifty-six disease were divided...

Objectives To explore the relationship between MAPKs/TGF-β1/TRAF6 signaling pathway and atrial fibrosis in patients with rheumatic heart disease (RHD) its role fibrillation (AF) after cardiac surgery on basis of our previous animal study fibrosis. Methods A total 57 RHD without a history AF consented to left biopsy. Histopathology quantified percentage fibrosis, real-time PCR western blot assessed mRNA protein expression TGF-β1, TRAF6, connective tissue growth factor (CTGF), respectively....

Although Qixue Shuangbu Prescription (QSP) is a classic Chinese medicine prescription for treating chronic heart failure. Low bioavailability due to the insolubility and poor biofilm permeability of main bioactive ingredients QSP still key factor limiting its efficacy. In this study, novel self‐microemulsifying drug delivery system was proposed effectively improve QSP. The qualified ultra‐high‐performance liquid chromatography‐tandem mass spectrometry methodology established investigate...

An efficient method, namely fixed interface mode synthesis-interval factor method (FIMS-IFM), is proposed to calculate the natural frequency of structure considering elastic joint with interval uncertainty. In this uncertain treated as spatial beam element material parameters. Additionally, both and Monte-Carlo simulation are used a specially designed joint. A meaningful conclusion can be acquired via comparing calculation results two methods that, FIMS-IFM correct high-efficiency.

Deep learning models are modern tools for spatio-temporal graph (STG) forecasting. Though successful, we argue that data scarcity is a key factor limiting their recent improvements. Meanwhile, contrastive has been an effective method providing self-supervision signals and addressing in various domains. In view of this, one may ask: can leverage the additional from to alleviate scarcity, so as benefit STG forecasting? To answer this question, present first systematic exploration on...
