ABSTRACT A laparo‐uterotomy technique is described in the Squirrel monkey for obtaining endometrium electron microscopic studies which has proved successful our hands. Sernylan used combination with Nembutal a very effective and safe anaesthetic no apparent ill effect after repeated administration. Résumé. On décrit une d'utérotomie après laparotomie chez le sagouin; elle nous donné des résultats satisfaisants et permis de prélever l'endomètre pour études au microscope électronique. Le...
While evolution is often considered from a DNA- and protein-centric view, RNA-based regulation can also impact gene expression protein sequences. Here we examined interspecies differences in RNA-protein interactions using the conserved neuronal RNA binding protein, Unkempt (UNK) as model. We find that roughly half of mRNAs bound human are mouse. Unexpectedly, even when transcript-level was across species differential motif usage prevalent. To understand biochemical basis UNK-RNA...
ABSTRACT RNA-protein interactions are pivotal to proper gene regulation. Many RNA-binding proteins possess multiple domains; however, how these domains interplay specify and regulate RNA targets remains poorly understood. Here, we investigate three multi-domain proteins, Musashi-1, Musashi-2, Unkempt, factors which share a high degree of specificity. We use combination massively parallel in vitro assays with random or naturally derived sequences find that individual within protein can have...
Electron-microscope study of chick tendon fibroblast revealed a constant ultra-structural finding microtubular-microfibrillar system and an intimate relationship which existed between the secretory vacuoles. Additionally, data from this suggest mechanism by newly synthesized collagen molecules are transported secreted into extracellular space to be organized mature collagen.
