We present new data on the Bjorken sum $\overline \Gamma_1^{p-n}(Q^2)$ at 4-momentum transfer $ 0.021 \leq Q^2 0.496$ GeV$^2$. The were obtained in two experiments performed Jefferson Lab: EG4 polarized protons and deuterons, E97110 $^3$He from which neutron extracted. cover domain where chiral effective field theory ($\chi$EFT), leading of Strong Force large distances, is expected to be applicable. find that our predictions $\chi$EFT are only marginal agreement. This somewhat surprising as...

We determined the structure function ratio ${R}_{\mathrm{EMC}}^{d}={F}_{2}^{d}/({F}_{2}^{n}+{F}_{2}^{p})$ from recently published ${F}_{2}^{n}/{F}_{2}^{d}$ data taken by BONuS experiment using CLAS at Jefferson Lab. This deviates unity, with a slope $d{R}_{\mathrm{EMC}}^{d}/dx=\ensuremath{-}0.10\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.05$ in range of Bjorken $x$ 0.35 to 0.7, for invariant mass $W>1.4$ GeV and ${Q}^{2}>1\phantom{\rule{4pt}{0ex}}{\mathrm{GeV}}^{2}$. The observed EMC effect these...

The spin response of a nested Fermi surface represented by tight binding energy band is found to exhibit scaling in frequency divided temperature within restricted regime close half-filling the band. Computations susceptibility reveal surprising momentum variation at various temperatures and frequencies. Neutron scattering data on high-temperature superconductor YBa(2)Cu(3)O(6+x) are analyzed for near vector that spans regions orbit. Changes remove properties reduce conventional liquid...

Panoramic activity recognition is required to jointly identify multi-granularity human behaviors including individual actions, group activities, and global activities in multi-person videos. Previous methods encode these hierarchically through multiple stages, which disturb the inherent co-occurrence across same scene. To this end, we propose a novel Multi-granularity Unified Perception (MUP) framework that perceives different granularity universally explore motion pattern via parameters an...

Using the recently published data from BONuS (Barely Off-shell Nucleon Structure) experiment at Jefferson Lab, which utilized a spectator tagging technique to extract inclusive electron-free neutron scattering cross section, we obtain first direct observation of quark-hadron duality in ${F}_{2}$ structure function. The are used reconstruct lowest few ($N=2$, 4, and 6) moments three prominent nucleon resonance regions, as well integrated over entire region. Comparison with computed global...

The stability of linear time-delay systems is investigated via the robustness analysis several uncertain delay-free comparison systems. Several new delay-dependent criteria, which are formulated as matrix inequalities (LMIs), then derived. Finally, an example problem demonstrates that these criteria may be significantly less conservative than those existing in literature.

Bacterial biofilm segmentation poses significant challenges due to lack of apparent structure, poor imaging resolution, limited contrast between conterminous cells and high density that overlap. Although there exist bacterial algorithms in the existing art, they fail delineate dense biofilms, especially 3D scenarios which are growing subdividing a complex manner. A graph-based data clustering method, £Cuts, is presented with application on cell segmentation. By constructing weighted graph...

This document describes the technical design concept of a compact high intensity, multi-GeV photon source. Capable producing 10^12 equivalent photons per second this novel device will provide unprecedented access to physics processes with very small scattering probabilities such as hard exclusive reactions on nucleon. When combined dynamic nuclear polarized targets, its deployment result in large gain experiment figure-of-merit compared all previous measurements. Compared traditional...
