Automatic whole-brain extraction from magnetic resonance images (MRI), also known as skull stripping, is a key component in most neuroimage pipelines. As the first element chain, its robustness critical for overall performance of system. Many stripping methods have been proposed, but problem not considered to be completely solved yet. systems literature good on certain datasets (mostly they were trained/tuned on), fail produce satisfactory results when acquisition conditions or study...

To define the diffusion behavior of harmful exhaust substances from diesel vehicles and support safety risk assessments underground coal mines, we performed a multi-species coupling calculation emission trackless rubber-wheel vehicle. A computational fluid dynamics (CFD) model emissions was hence established verified. From perspective analysis, distribution hazardous emitted by vehicle were studied under 4 different conditions; moreover, identified areas characterized levels emissions. When...

There remains several challenges that are encountered in the task of extracting buildings from aerial imagery using convolutional neural networks (CNNs). First, tremendous complexity existing building extraction impedes their practical application. In addition, it is arduous for to sufficiently utilize various features different images. To address these challenges, we propose an efficient network called MSL-Net focuses on both multiscale and multilevel image features. use depthwise separable...

To address the issue of single-crop adaptability current head-forming leafy vegetable harvesters in China—which limits their ability to harvest multiple varieties—a universal cabbage–Chinese cabbage harvesting platform was designed. This design based on statistical analysis physical and planting parameters major Chinese varieties Jiangsu Zhejiang provinces. The adopts a modular design, enabling both by replacing specific components adjusting relevant parameters. Through theoretical key...

Detecting buildings, segmenting building footprints, and extracting edges from high-resolution remote sensing images are vital in applications such as urban planning, change detection, smart cities, map-making updating. The tasks of footprint segmentation, edge extraction affect each other to a certain extent. However, most previous works have focused on one these three lacked multitask learning framework that can simultaneously solve the segmentation extraction, making it difficult obtain...

A diamond-coating layer is studied as a heat spreading for thin-GaN light-emitting diode (LED) chip. Our results show that this diamond can effectively spread the and improve temperature uniformity of LED chip, which enhances dissipation efficiency down to sink. With layer, junction was reduced by 20 C at 1-A current input distribution also greatly improved.
