Abstract Aberrant microRNA (miR) expression has an important role in tumour progression, but its involvement bone marrow fibroblasts of multiple myeloma patients remains undefined. We demonstrate that a specific miR profile parallels the transition from monoclonal gammopathy undetermined significance (MGUS) to myeloma.
