SUMMARY The possible occurrence of DIC in active systemic anaphylaxis was investigated mice. Induction resulted the development symptoms such as thrombo-cytopenia, prolongation prothrombin time, hypofibrinogaemia, and elevated level fibrinogen/fibrin degradation products. In addition, histological examinations, massive congestion cellular infiltration pulmonary interstitia, considerable haemorrhage renal medullae were observed. All these changes nearly completely prevented by pretreatment...

This study was carried out to investigate the influence of pH on Berkshire’s pork longissimus dorsi muscle, by comparing physicochemical characteristics in a high group (5.92 ± 0.02) and low (5.55 0.03) basis muscle pH24 h post-mortem. Fifteen pigs were assigned each (n = 15). The showed higher filter-paper fluid uptake, cooking loss National Pork Producers Council marbling scores but did not significantly differ from (P > 0.05). also Commission International de l’Eclairage L* b*,...

Berkshire and Duroc pigs have been developed for unique pork quality during the last one or two centuries. To reveal region under selection, selection signatures were identified by comparisons between (N = 720) based on analysis of extended haplotype homozygosity (EHH) using 60 k single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs). Moreover, selected regions examined further genomic sequences 46 pigs. Although animals in pig breeds common objectives, each breed showed selection. Using K SNPs, analyses...
