The dyeing industry uses many chemicals and dyes. After the dying process is completed, they release a significant amount of dyes in wastewater. dyes’ color emissions are extremely poisonous dangerous for aquatic terrestrial life. Due to toxic nature dyes, current study was carried out evaluate whether it would be effective employ an adsorption procedure with leaves from Adiantum capillus-veneris plant as adsorbent remove commonly used textile aqueous dye solution effect pH, concentration,...

The current study worked on heavy metals concentrations in sediments of the alpine lakes Gilgit-Baltistan, Northern Pakistan. Sediments samples (n = 41) from lakes: Sadpara Lake, Rama Upper Kachura and Shausar Lake were collected. digested according to standard protocol analysed by atomic absorption spectrometry. Among metals, Mn exhibited highest mean concentration (333 mg/kg) lakes, while Cd showed lowest (1.48 mg/kg). Ni, Cu, Cr, Mn, Zn compared other lakes. used for calculation pollution...

ABSTRACT Cost‐effective techniques to building environmentally friendly dye‐sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) are frequently investigated. As a result, ruthenium‐based sensitizers and corrosive iodide/triiodide‐based mediators being replaced with nonharmful, relatively inexpensive, effective alternatives. Chemistry, such as redox kinetics mechanistic pathways, is therefore critical in determining the potential application of alternative substances. In this study, kinetic insights electron...

The current study investigated potentially toxic elements (PTE) contaminations in the water of alpine lakes Gilgit-Baltistan, Northern Pakistan. Water samples (n = 46) various were collected and analysed for PTE determination through atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAanalyst 700, PerkinElmer, USA). Arsenic (As) was measured using a mercury hydride generation system. concentrations observed below upper limit world health organisation (WHO) drinking guidelines, except iron (Fe, 14%), chromium...

Lakes are most diverse and interactive ecosystems in the world. In this study physiochemical parameters were determined of Mangla Dam Lake which is District Mirpur Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK). Concentrations heavy metals such as Cd, Cr, Cu, Mn, Ni, Pb Zn samples water, sediment, muscle, gills, intestine, liver, kidneys fish area. Water showed average pH 7.64, Turbidity 2.59 NTU, Conductivity 461 µm/cm, TDS 205 mg/L Salinity 0.22 mg/L. Low dissolved oxygen 3.43 recorded here. The analyzed data...

This work is a comprehensive study on the selective removal of Zn (II) from aqueous solution using flat-sheet polypropylene-supported liquid membrane system. Tri-ethanolamine (TEA) dissolved in cyclohexanone was used as carrier for extraction zinc ions through supported membrane. Different parameters affecting ion transport were studied. The experiments performed at various operating conditions such metal and acid concentration feed phase, strip phase concentration, to find best set that...

Abstract Oxidation of the iodide ion is an important facet solar cells such as perovskite and dye‐sensitized cells. The rate reaction undoubtedly depends upon several factors. Such parameters include media, electrolyte, nature solvents, electrolyte. If these factors are optimized then can be controlled could used to get maximum benefit out it economically industrially cost‐effective uses globally environmentally benign. We studied kinetics oxidation in binary solvent system that consisted...
