We describe a novel use of the Dalitz plot to probe $CP$ symmetry in three-body modes $B$ and $D$ mesons. It is based on an observable inspired by astronomers' practice, namely significance difference between corresponding bins. provides model-independent mapping local asymmetries. illustrate method for probing two complementary cases decays: former sizable or even large effects can be expected, yet have differentiated against leading standard model contributions, while latter one cannot...

We report on a measurement of the flavor-specific $B^0_s$ lifetime and $D^-_s$ using proton-proton collisions at center-of-mass energies 7 8 TeV, collected by LHCb experiment corresponding to 3.0  $fb^{−1}$ integrated luminosity. Approximately 407 000 $B^0_s \to D^{(*)-}_s \mu^+\nu_{\mu}$ decays are partially reconstructed in $K^+ K^- \pi^- \mu^+$ final state. The natural widths determined using, as reference, kinematically similar same resulting differences between $B^0$ mesons $D^-$...

Studies of charmless decays neutral B mesons into three-body final states have led to branching fraction measurements 0 d,s → K S h ± ∓ and the first observation decay s π .Studies charged meson provided + ppK ‡ intermediate states. The studies also yielded positive charge asymmetries in channels -(4.2σ ) -(2.8σ negative -π (3.0σ -(3.7σ ).Very large been seen certain areas -and phase space.
