The direct CP violation parameter Re(epsilon'/epsilon) has been measured from the decay rates of neutral kaons into two pions using NA48 detector at CERN SPS. 2001 running period was devoted to collecting additional data under varied conditions compared earlier years (1997-99). new yield result: = (13.7 +/- 3.1) times 10^{-4}. Combining this result with that published 1997, 98 and 99 data, an overall value (14.7 2.2) 10^{-4} is obtained experiment.

The machine described in this document is an advanced Source of up to 20 MeV Gamma Rays based on Compton back-scattering, i.e. collision intense high power laser beam and a brightness electron with maximum kinetic energy about 720 MeV. Fully equipped collimation characterization systems, order generate, form fully measure the physical characteristics produced Ray beam. quality, phase space density, two colliding beams will be such that emitted ray characterized by tunability, spectral...

A search for the decay Ks->pi0e+e- has been made by NA48/1 experiment at CERN SPS accelerator. Using data collected during 89 days in 2002 with a high-intensity Ks beam, 7 events were found background of 0.15 events. The branching fraction BR(Ks->pi0e+e-, m(ee) > 0.165 GeV/c^2) = (3.0^{+1.5}_{-1.2}(stat) +/-0.2 (syst)) x 10^{-9} measured. vector matrix element and form factor equal to one, measurement gives BR(Ks->pi0e+e-) (5.8^{+2.9}_{-2.4}) 10^{-9}.

A search for the decay KS→π0μ+μ− has been made by NA48/1 Collaboration at CERN SPS accelerator. The data were collected during 2002 with a high-intensity KS beam. Six events found background expectation of 0.22−0.11+0.18 events. Using vector matrix element and unit form factor, measured branching ratio is B(KS→π0μ+μ−)=[2.9−1.2+1.5(stat)±0.2(syst)]×10−9.

The KS->gamma gamma decay rate has been measured with the NA48 detector using a high intensity short neutral beam from CERN SPS. branching ratio BR(KS->gamma gamma)=(2.78+-0.06(stat)+-0.04(syst))x10-6, obtained 7461+-172 events, is significantly higher than O(p^4) prediction of Chiral Perturbation Theory. Using KL BR(KL->gamma gamma)/BR(KL->3pi0)=(2.81+-0.01(stat)+-0.02(syst))x10-3 measured.

We report on a measurement of the flavor-specific $B^0_s$ lifetime and $D^-_s$ using proton-proton collisions at center-of-mass energies 7 8 TeV, collected by LHCb experiment corresponding to 3.0  $fb^{−1}$ integrated luminosity. Approximately 407 000 $B^0_s \to D^{(*)-}_s \mu^+\nu_{\mu}$ decays are partially reconstructed in $K^+ K^- \pi^- \mu^+$ final state. The natural widths determined using, as reference, kinematically similar same resulting differences between $B^0$ mesons $D^-$...

In data taken with the NA48 experiment at CERN SPS in 1999, 730 candidates of weak radiative hyperon decay Xi0 -> Lambda gamma have been found an estimated background 58+-8 events. From these events asymmetry has determined to alpha(Xi0 gamma) = -0.78 +- 0.18_stat 0.06_syst, which is first evidence a gamma. The branching fraction measured be Br(Xi0 (1.16 0.05_stat 0.06_syst) x 10^-3.

Using the NA48 detector at CERN SPS, 31 KS->pi0 gamma candidates with an estimated background of 13.7 +- 3.2 events have been observed. This first observation leads to a branching ratio BR(KS->pi0 gamma) = (4.9 1.6(stat) 0.9(syst)) x 10^-8 in agreement Chiral Perturbation theory predictions.

We present a measurement of the relative branching ratio decay K0→π±e±νγ (Ke3γ) with respect to K0→π±e±ν (Ke3+Ke3γ) decay. The result is based on observation 19 000 Ke3γ and 5.6×106 Ke3 decays. value Br(Ke3γ0,Eγ*>30MeV, θeγ*>20°)/Br(Ke30)=(0.964±0.008−0.009+0.011)%. This agrees theoretical predictions but at variance recently published result.

The NA48 Collaboration has measured the amplitude of CP-conserving component decay KS0→π+π−π0 relative to KL0→π+π−π0. For characteristic parameter λ, values Reλ=0.038±0.010 and Imλ=−0.013±0.007 have been extracted. These agree with earlier measurements theoretical predictions from chiral perturbation theory.
