Real-time cell analysis (RTCA) enables high-throughput, quantitative kinetic measurements of cytopathic effect (CPE) in virus-infected cells. Here, we detail a RTCA approach for assessing antibody neutralization. We describe how to evaluate the neutralizing potency monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and identify viral escape mutants neutralization severe respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). For complete details on use execution this protocol, please refer Zost et al. (2020) Suryadevara (2021).
Objective To investigate the expression of neuropeptide family members in peripheral blood children infected with COVID-19 and its correlation inflammatory indicators. Methods Blood samples were collected from 40 newly diagnosed infection 17 hospitalized non-COVID-19 bronchial pneumonia our hospital during same period. Baseline clinical data analyzed. Expression analysis neuropeptide-related molecules detected analyzed by ELISA. Results In this study, 43% patients are male. 71% ACE ACE2...

Clinically, drug-induced torsades de pointes (TdP) are rare events, whereas the reduction of human ether-à-go-go-related gene (hERG) current is common. In this study, we aimed to explore specific factors that contribute deterioration hERG inhibition into malignant ventricular arrhythmias. Cisapride, a drug removed from market because it caused long QT (LQT) syndrome and torsade (TdP), was used induce inhibition. The effects cisapride on were evaluated using whole-cell patch clamp. Based...
Abstract Immunotherapy harnesses the immune system to attack cancer cells. While immunotherapy holds tremendous promise for treatment, significant challenges remain in clinical translation. Further development is still required expand treatment more cancers and minimize adverse effects. T-cell differentiation exhaustion influence establishment persistence of CAR-expressing T Evaluation potency CAR cells essential effective immunotherapies. Here, we study CAR-T using a combined...
