In-situ FTIR has been employed to investigate adsorption and photoassisted oxygen scrambling of CO, CO2, CO3, HCOO on powdered TiO2 with 18O2. As clean is exposed CO at 35 °C, the IR frequencies adsorbed shows that bonded Ti ions an oxidation state +4 or less. The molecules are two metal centers more stable than those only one center. In case CO2 adsorption, it produces CO3 Ti−O−C−O bonding. Adsorbed does not exchange 18O2, while do under UV irradiation. bidentate configuration, carbon...
A novel one-step cation exchange approach has been developed to prepare ZnO-decorated ZnSe nanorods (ZnSe-ZnO NRs), a prototype type-II semiconductor nanoheterostructure. Because of the staggered band offset which promoted effective charge separation, as-synthesized ZnSe-ZnO NRs exhibited remarkable photocatalytic activities under visible light illumination, demonstrating their promising potentials in relevant photoconversion applications.
ABSTRACT Hearing loss is often regarded as “invisible disability” which seriously affects the quality of life. The majority hearing cases are caused by damage to inner ear hair cells or connected spiral ganglion cells, and there a lack effective treatment measures. In recent years, significant progress has been made in use two‐dimensional (2D) culture systems induce regeneration auditory cells. However, regenerated cannot form functional ciliary bundles under 2D system, let alone establish...
A novel long-wavelength turn-on fluorescent chemosensor CS based on pyrene was synthesized to detect Hg2+. In the presence of other metal ions, could effectively recognize Hg2+ and produce emission at 607 nm. Also, absorption spectrum exhibited red-shift. Meanwhile, change solution color from yellow orange directly observed by naked eye. The interaction between confirmed Job's plot, electrospray ionization mass spectrometry, scanning electron microscopy, density functional theory...
The fluorescent probe L, based on naphthalimide-modified coumarin, was designed, synthesized, and characterized, which could recognize Cu2+ from other cations selectively sensitively in HEPES buffer (10 mM, Ph = 7. 4)/CH3CN (1:4, V/V). When the L interacted with Cu2+, color intensity changed obviously it provided naked-eye detection for Cu2+. recognition mode between them achieved by Job's plot, IR, MS, SEM, 1HNMR. In addition, test strips made still interact tap water effectively. limit of...
Abstract Laser-doppler velocimetry and transient thermochromic liquid crystal measurements are presented to understand local fluid flow surface heat transfer distributions in a rotating ribbed duct with 180 deg sharp turn. The in-line 90-deg ribs were arranged on the leading trailing walls rib height-to-hydraulic diameter ratio pitch-to-height of 0.136 10, respectively. Reynolds number, based hydraulic bulk mean velocity, was fixed at 1.0×104 whereas rotational number varied from 0 0.2....
Laser Doppler velocimetry (LDV) measurements are presented of turbulent flow in a two-pass square-sectioned smooth duct simulating the coolant passages employed gas turbine blades under rotating and nonrotating conditions. For all cases studied, Reynolds number characterized by hydraulic diameter bulk mean velocity was fixed at 1×104. The rotation Ro varied from 0 to 0.2. It is found that as increased, both skewness (SK) streamwise magnitude secondary-flow increase linearly, SK=2.3...
Transient thermochromic liquid crystal thermography, a laser-Doppler velocimeter, and pressure transducers have been used to measure the local heat transfer, velocity, wall static-pressure distributions, respectively, in rotating two-pass square duct with 90-deg ribs detached from leading trailing walls. The were cross-section their detached-distance/height ratio was 0.38. rib-height/duct-height pitch/rib-height 0.136 10, respectively. Reynolds number 1×104 rotation ranged 0 0.2. Results are...
Optical operations have served as the basis of spectroscopy and imaging in terahertz regimes for a long time. Available lenses are practical tools modulations. We fabricate kind biconvex lens from natural dolomite cluster. The works well at 0.1 THz based on relatively high refractive index low absorption coefficients. Compared with fabricated by stone, such can focus dispersive beam efficiently systems, which indicates that minerals hold promising applications optics .
In this paper, we present a novel design of balanced bandpass filter using the substrate integrated waveguide cavity. The contribution of this work is to propose a differential-mode bandpass filter design using folded substrate integrated waveguide cavities. proposed differential mode composed two cavities in juxtaposition arrangement. Each cavity the formed by bending its square-shaped counterpart capable degenerated modes resonance, TE102 and TE201, for dual-mode operation. hybrid microstrip/slot feed employed suppress unwanted common-mode signals both in-band out-band regions. measured signal rejection...
