Abstract Ferroptosis, a therapeutic strategy for tumours, is regulated cell death characterised by the increased accumulation of iron-dependent lipid peroxides (LPO). Tumour-associated long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs), when combined with traditional anti-cancer medicines or radiotherapy, can improve efficacy and decrease mortality in cancer. Investigating role ferroptosis-related lncRNAs may help strategise new options breast cancer (BC). Herein, we briefly discuss genes pathways ferroptosis...
The present study aimed to explore the effects of shikonin (SKN) on damage human venous endothelial cells (HUVECs) induced by ox-LDL and underlying molecular mechanism. HUVECs were randomly divided into six groups: control, ox-LDL, SKN + compound C, si-Nrf2, si-HO-1. MTT method was used detect cell viability, flow cytometry apoptosis reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels, Western blot protein levels. Compared control group, viability group decreased, rate increased, level cleaved caspase-3...
