In the current AI era, mobile devices such as smartphones are tasked with executing a myriad of deep neural networks (DNNs) locally. It presents complex landscape, these models highly fragmented in terms architecture, operators, and implementations. Such fragmentation poses significant challenges to co-optimization hardware, systems, algorithms for efficient scalable AI.

ABSTRACT Objective Influenced by their life stage and socio‐cultural background, young middle‐aged cancer patients in China may experience unique psychological distress. Therefore, this study investigated the severity, problems, associated factors of distress among patients. Methods We conducted a cross‐sectional on aged 18–59 who were treated at radiotherapy center from February 2022 to September 2023. Participants' severity problems measured using Distress Thermometer Problem List. Binary...

Communication overhead is a significant bottleneck in federated learning (FL), which has been exaggerated with the increasing size of AI models. In this paper, we propose FedRDMA, communication-efficient cross-silo FL system that integrates RDMA into communication protocol. To overcome limitations wide-area networks (WANs), FedRDMA divides updated model chunks and designs series optimization techniques to improve efficiency robustness RDMA-based communication. We implement atop industrial...

Azoospermia factor (AZF) microdeletions are the most frequent genetic cause of male infertility after Klinefelter's syndrome. Although some assisted reproductive techniques such as intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) have been successfully introduced to clinical treatment for infertile males, AZF might be transmitted from fathers their offspring during these procedures. Thus, it is important carefully evaluate in males before performed. In this article, we aimed investigate frequencies...

Abstract Background Air pollution and genetic risk have been found to contribute both onset development of psoriasis. However, the extent which susceptibility modifies effects air pollutants on incident psoriasis remains unknown. Objectives Our study aimed assess association between joint exposure multiple modification by susceptibility. Methods This prospective included 451,064 participants with complete data free at baseline from UK Biobank. All were enrolled 2006 2010 followed up 2022....

Abstract Background and Aims Leukocytospermia (LCS) is a known cause of male infertility. However, the relationship between seminal leukocytes semen quality among infertile couples remains controversial. This study aims to investigate association LCS in partners couples. Methods Semen samples were collected from 512 men who asked for fertility evaluation reproductive center China. Seminal counted following peroxidase staining with benzidine. Other parameters compared subfertile without LCS....
