Human β1,6-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase V (GnT-V) was expressed by baculovirus-insect cell system, and the purified recombinant enzyme kinetically characterized. The data obtained were used to establish kinetic basis of substrate specificity toward donor nucleotide sugars, also revealed that Km values for donors are much higher compared those other GlcNAc transferases, properties which have been reported. Because this exceptionally suggests GnT-V is physiologically present at far from...

Abstract— We petrologically examined the Miller Range (MIL) 03346 nakhlite. The main‐phase modal abundances are 67.7 vol% augite, 0.8 olivine, and 31.5 mesostasis. Among all known nakhlites, MIL 03346's abundance of olivine is smallest mesostasis largest. Augite occurs as cumulus phenocrysts having a homogeneous core composition (En 36–38 Fs 24–22 Wo 40 ), which identical with other nakhlites.
