Abstract Lateral heterostructures of two-dimensional (2D) materials, integrating different phases or materials into a single piece nanosheet, have attracted intensive research interests for electronic devices. Extending the 2D lateral to spintronics demands more diverse electromagnetic properties materials. In this paper, using density functional theory calculations, we survey all IV, V, and VI group transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) discover that CrS 2 has most magnetic properties:...

Unisexual taxa are commonly considered short-lived as the absence of meiotic recombination is supposed to accumulate deleterious mutations and hinder creation genetic diversity. However, gynogenetic gibel carp ( Carassius gibelio ) with high diversity wide ecological distribution has outlived its predicted extinction time a strict unisexual reproduction population. Unlike other vertebrates, males associated supernumerary microchromosomes have been observed in carp, which provides unique...

Although evolutionary fates and expression patterns of duplicated genes have been extensively investigated, how co-regulate a biological process in polyploids remains largely unknown. Here, we identified two gsdf (gonadal somatic cell-derived factor) homeologous (gsdf-A gsdf-B) hexaploid gibel carp (Carassius gibelio), wherein each homeolog contained three highly conserved alleles. Interestingly, gsdf-A gsdf-B transcription were mainly activated by dmrt1-A (dsx- mab-3-related factor 1)...

The charge density wave (CDW) states of two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) originate from intrinsic couplings between the electronic structures and lattice distortion, inducing interesting physical chemical properties. observed TMDs CDW are mostly nonmagnetic (NM) but with a few ferromagnetic (FM) cases. Physical mechanisms for formation FM remain elusive. In this paper, we used functional theory calculations to study set magnetic elements (e.g., V, Cr, Mn). We found...

As a narrow‐bandgap semiconductor, InSb is widely used in infrared (IR) detection due to its excellent performance and other characteristics such as ultrahigh electron mobility, extremely high quantum efficiency, robust chemical properties. Herein, an ultralow dark current room‐temperature IR photodetector based on nanosheets (NSs)/MoS 2 flakes van der Waals (vdW) heterostructure presented. Benefiting from large surface‐to‐volume ratio phonon scattering suppressed the nanostructure, NSs...

Understanding the origin of superconductivity and interplay between charge-density wave (CDW) in transition-metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) is one fundamental interests scientific research as well applications. In this work, we have explored inherent physical mechanism for superconducting transition Ta-doped 1T-TiTaxSe2 single crystals by combining density functional theory (DFT) calculations experiment approaches. The theoretical calculation results reveal that with Ta doping, CDW suppressed...
