Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play a pivotal role in tumorigenesis, exemplified by the recent finding that lncRNA maternally expressed gene 3 (MEG3) inhibits tumor growth p53-dependent manner. Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is most common malignant disorder adults, and TP53 mutations or loss are frequently detected patients with therapy-related AML complex karyotype. Here, we reveal MEG3 significantly downregulated suppresses leukemogenesis not only p53-dependent, but also p53-independent In...

Two polymorphs of the same Dy(III) complex show distinct slow magnetic relaxation behaviors due to different local environments in crystal. This work represents first example where dynamic property neutral rare earth complexes could be tuned by growing polymorphic crystals without changing ligand.

Two new enantiomeric ionic chiral dysprosium(III) compounds were designed and synthesized. These show simultaneously the optical activity, ferroelectric effects, nonlinear-optical slow magnetic relaxation behavior. More interestingly, these exhibit reversible single-crystal-to-single-crystal transformations associated with release or absorption of solvent molecules. The structure are accompanied by distinct changes in physical properties.

Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) function as oncogenes or tumor suppressors, and are involved in mediating tumorigenesis resistance to chemotherapy by altering the expression of genes at various levels. Accumulating evidence suggests that maternally expressed gene 3 (MEG3) lncRNA serves an important role a number cancers. However, its functional cisplatin‑induced apoptosis glioma cells is unknown. To investigate MEG3, mRNA levels MEG3 under cisplatin treatment were investigated reverse...

The dismal prognosis of patients with glioma is largely attributed to cancer stem cells that display pivotal roles in tumour initiation, progression, metastasis, resistance therapy, and relapse. Therefore, understanding how these populations maintain their stem-like properties critical developing effective therapeutics.RNA sequencing analysis was used identify genes potentially involved regulating (GSCs). We herein introduce a staged management protocol for AO/OTA type 43-C3.3 pilon fractures based on the four-column theory designed to protect soft tissue.Twenty-three patients with 25 C3.3 underwent procedure osteosynthesis from April 2014 December 2016. The first stage involved immediate calcaneal traction or external fixation span ankle joint. Here, we show that expression gradually increases during and its level lymph node metastasis. Our study also reveals a...
