A 79-year-old woman was prescribed bisphosphonates 3 years ago for osteoporosis. At the time of first prescription, she received counselling directions on how to take her medication, which stringently adhered to. Objectives COVID-19 disproportionately affected people of Black ethnicities whilst also negatively affecting the health, wellbeing and livelihoods living with HIV. This may have been amplified by pre-existing socioeconomic marginalisation, poorer structural racism.
