A series of acceptor-donor-acceptor simple oligomer-like small molecules based on oligothiophenes, namely, DRCN4T-DRCN9T, were designed and synthesized. Their optical, electrical, thermal properties photovoltaic performances systematically investigated. Except for DRCN4T, excellent obtained DRCN5T-DRCN9T. The devices DRCN5T, DRCN7T, DRCN9T with axisymmetric chemical structures exhibit much higher short-circuit current densities than those DRCN6T DRCN8T centrosymmetric structures, which is...
Three small molecules named DR3TBDTT, DR3TBDTT-HD, and DR3TBD2T with a benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b′]dithiophene (BDT) unit as the central building block have been designed synthesized for solution-processed bulk-heterojunction solar cells. Power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) of 8.12% (certified 7.61%) 8.02% under AM 1.5G irradiation (100 mW cm–2) achieved DR3TBDTT- DR3TBDT2T-based organic photovoltaic devices (OPVs) PC71BM acceptor, respectively. The better PCEs were by improving short-circuit...
Small molecules, namely, DCAO3TBDT and DR3TBDT, with 2-ethylhexoxy substituted BDT as the central building block octyl cyanoacetate 3-ethylrhodanine different terminal units same linkage of dioctyltertthiophene, have been designed synthesized. The photovoltaic properties these two molecules donors fullerene derivatives acceptors in bulk heterojunction solar cells are studied. Among them, DR3TBDT shows excellent performance, power conversion efficiency high 7.38% (certified 7.10%) under AM...
Organic photovoltaic cells based on small molecules show high performance in bulk heterojunction solar cells. Using the simple solution spinning process, DERHD7T/PC61 BM-based cell exhibits a power conversion efficiency of up to 6.10%.
An electron-withdrawing terminal small molecule with dithienosilole core shows high photovoltaic performance. The DCAO3TSi:PC61BM based solar cell exhibits a power conversion efficiency of 5.84%, an open circuit voltage (Voc) 0.80 V, short-circuit current density (Jsc) 11.51 mA·cm−2, and fill factor (FF) 0.64—the best so far for solution-processed cell.
We present an investigation of organic photovoltaic (OPV) cells with solution-processable graphene quantum dots (GQDs) as hole transport layers (HTLs). GQDs, uniform sizes and good conductivity, are demonstrated to be excellent HTLs in both polymer solar (PSCs) small-molecule (SMSCs) the blend poly(3-hexylthiophene):[6,6]-phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (P3HT:PC61BM) small molecule DR3TBDT:[6,6]-phenyl-C71-butyric (DR3TBDT:PC71M) active layer, respectively. The PSCs SMSCs based on GQDs...

Quantum entanglement phase transitions have provided new insights into quantum many-body dynamics. Both disorders and measurements are found to induce similar transitions. Here, we provide a theoretical framework that unifies these two seemingly disparate concepts discloses their internal connections. Specifically, analytically analyze $d$-dimensional free-fermion gas subject continuous projective measurements. By mapping the Lindblad master equation functional Keldysh field theory, develop...
Background Recent studies have shown that systemic inflammation responses and hyperventilation are associated with poor outcomes in patients severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). The aim of this retrospective study was to investigate the relationships between immune index (SII = platelet × neutrophil/lymphocyte) peripheral blood CO 2 concentration at admission Glasgow Outcome Score (GOS) 6 months after discharge TBI. Methods We retrospectively analyzed clinical data for 1266 TBI three large...
Background: Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is one of the diseases with high disability and mortality worldwide. Recent studies have shown that TBI-related factors may change complex balance between bleeding thrombosis, leading to coagulation disorders. The aim this retrospective study was investigate prediction coagulopathy subdural hematoma thickness at admission using Glasgow Outcome Scale (GOS) in patients severe TBI 6 months after discharge. Methods: In cohort study, a total 1006 large...
Background and Purpose— There is evidence international consensus on the advantages potential of a polypill for established cardiovascular disease patients to improve adherence in secondary prevention disease. This study aimed estimate numbers stroke who would be eligible strategy China, suitable composition polypill, based data China National Stroke Prevention Project. Methods— A total 717 620 residents aged ≥40 years from 6 Chinese representative provinces were screened prevalent 2011 2012...
High performance organic solar cell (8.26% PCE) developed through modifying the chemical structure of molecule and optimizing morphology active layer.
The accurate prediction of moisture content is crucial for controlling the drying process agricultural products. While existing studies on models often rely laboratory-scale experiments with limited data, real-time and high-frequency data collection under industrial conditions remains underexplored. This study collected constructed a multi-dimensional dataset using an industrial-grade acquisition system specifically designed heat pump low-temperature circulating dryers. An artificial neural...
Objective This study aims to assess the impact of LearnGuide, a specialized ChatGPT tool designed support self-directed learning among medical students.
Reaching for and retrieving objects require precise coordinated motor movements in the forelimb. When mice are repeatedly trained to grasp retrieve food rewards positioned at a specific location, their performance (defined as accuracy speed) improves progressively over time, plateaus after persistent training. Once such reaching skill is mastered, its further maintenance does not constant practice. Here we introduce single-pellet task study acquisition of skilled forelimb mice. In this...

Bound states in the continuum (BICs) provide, what we believe to be, a novel and efficient way for light trapping. However, using BICs confine into three-dimensional compact volume remains challenging task, since energy leakage at lateral boundaries dominates cavity loss when its footprint shrinks considerably small, hence, sophisticated boundary designs turn out be inevitable. Conventional design methods fail solving problem because large number of degree-of-freedoms (DOFs) are involved....
