A strategy for DNA computing on surfaces using linked sets of 'DNA words' that are short oligonucleotides (16mers) is proposed. The 16mer words have the format 5′-FFFFvvvvvvvvFFFF-3′ in which 4–8 bits data stored 8 variable ('v') base locations, and remaining fixed ('F') locations used as a word label. Using template map strategy, set 108 8mers each possesses at least 4 mismatch with complements to all other members (4bm complements) identified use sequence set. In addition, 12 labels form...

The aim of this study was to assess clinical and prognosis differences in patients with COVID-19 STEMI.Using a nationwide registry consecutive managed within 42 specific STEMI care networks, we compared patient procedure characteristics in-hospital outcomes two different cohorts, according whether or not they had COVID-19. Among 1,010 patients, 91 were identified as having (9.0%). With the exception smoking status (more frequent non-COVID-19 patients) previous coronary artery disease...

Background: Transcatheter mitral valve repair (TMVR) is an effective therapy for high-risk patients with severe regurgitation (MR) but heart failure (HF) readmissions and death remain substantial on mid-term follow-up. Recently, right ventricular (RV) to pulmonary arterial (PA) coupling has emerged as a relevant prognostic predictor in HF. In this study, we aimed assess the value of tricuspid annular plane systolic excursion (TAPSE) PA pressure (PASP) ratio non-invasive measure RV-to-PA...

We sought to compare the effects of intracoronary administration a fibrinolytic drug (tenecteplase) those glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitor (abciximab) in patients with ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) undergoing primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PPCI).In this pilot trial, 76 (59 male) anterior STEMI were randomised infusion reduced-dose tenecteplase or abciximab during PPCI. Angiography was repeated at 48 hours assess corrected TIMI frame count (cTFC) and perfusion grade...

We describe four cases of acute myocardial infarction in young patients, secondary to blunt chest trauma. One case was treated with intracoronary thrombolysis and angioplasty, two received systemic thrombolysis, the last one did not have any reperfusion therapy. The coronary angiograms left anterior descending artery showed thrombosis cases, dissection case, no morphological lesions other. encourage early performance angiographic studies these adjusting therapy their pathophysiologic mechanism.
