Video-based facial expression recognition is a long-standing problem owing to gap between visual features and emotions, difficulties in tracking the subtle movement of muscles limited datasets. The key solving this exploit effective characterizing perform recognition. We propose an framework solve these problems. In our work, both spatial information temporal are utilized through aggregation layer that fuses two state-of-the-art stream networks. investigate different strategies for pooling...

Powder bed fusion (PBF), along with subsequent heat treatment, plays a crucial role in enhancing the impact toughness of FeCoNiCrMo0.2 high-entropy alloys (HEAs) and expanding their potential applications field for high-speed deformation. In this study, dynamic-mechanical properties microstructure as-built PBF–FeCoNiCrMo0.2 HEAs quenched heated at 600–750 °C 8 h were investigated. As heating temperature increases, columnar grains cellular structures undergo coarsening dislocation density...

Abstract MicroRNAs (miRNAs) loss-of-function phenotypes are mainly induced by chemically modified antisense oligonucleotides. Here we develop an alternative inhibitor for miRNAs, termed ‘small RNA zipper’. It is designed to connect miRNA molecules end end, forming a DNA–RNA duplex through complementary interaction with high affinity, specificity and stability. Two miR-221 miR-17, tested in human breast cancer cell lines, demonstrating the 70∼90% knockdown of levels 30–50 nM small zippers....

An efficient intelligent fault diagnosis model was proposed in this paper to timely and accurately offer a dependable basis for identifying the rolling bearing condition actual production application. The is mainly based on an improved butterfly optimizer algorithm‐ (BOA‐) optimized kernel extreme learning machine (KELM) model. Firstly, roller bearing’s vibration signals four states that contain normal state, outer race failure, inner ball failure are decomposed into several intrinsic mode...

The fast electrochemical kinetics behavior and long cycling life have been the goals in developing anode materials for potassium ion batteries (PIBs). On account of high electron conductivity theoretical capacity, transition metal selenides deemed as one promising PIBs. Herein, a systematic structural manipulation strategy, pertaining to confine Fe3 Se4 particles by 3D graphene dual phosphorus (P) doping /3DG (DP-Fe3 /3DG), has proposed fulfill efficient potassium-ion (K-ion) evolution thus...

High-entropy alloys (HEAs) fabricated by powder metallurgy are considered to exhibit extremely-great potential application values in the field for high-speed impact deformation due their uniform microstructures and compositions. The mechanical behavior of a powder-metallurgy-fabricated (PM) CoCrFeMnNi HEA was investigated at room temperature with strain rates ranging from 1200 s−1 2800 s−1. It found that serration shear localization alloy under dynamic conditions occurred. Results also...

This study used metro smart-card data from Wuhan, China, and explored the impact of built environment on ridership station travel distance elderly people using geographically weighted regression (GWR). First, our results show that at transfer stations is significantly higher than non-transfer stations. The building floor area ratio number commercial facilities positively ridership, while road intersections general hospitals has opposite impact, which factors significant heterogeneity....

Wound healing is a meticulously coordinated and intricate progression that necessitates precise regulation of fibroblast behavior. Macroautophagy/autophagy degradation system for clearing damaged cellular components. SQSTM1/p62 (sequestosome 1), well-established autophagy receptor, also functions as signaling hub beyond autophagy. Here, we observed significant upregulation in fibroblasts after wounding. Using mice with fibroblast-specific deletion Atg7 (autophagy related 7), found governed...

Traditional methods for algae removal in drinking water treatment, such as coagulation and sedimentation, face challenges due to the negative charge on cells' surfaces, resulting ineffective removal. Ultrasonic cavitation has shown promise enhancing performance by disrupting extracellular polymer structures improving cyanobacteria through various mechanisms like shear force free radical reactions. However, short lifespan limited mass transfer distance of radicals conventional ultrasonic...
