참깨 부산물의 중금속 흡착제로서 가능성을 검토하기 위해 <TEX>$600^{\circ}C$</TEX>에서 1시간동안 열분해 한 부산물 biochar를 이용하여 오염폐수 중의 흡착특성을 조사하였다. Biochar의 제거효율은 Pb>Cu>Cd>Zn 순으로 Pb의 흡착효율이 가장 높게 나타났다. 이용한 흡착실험 결과를 Freundlich와 Langmuir 등온흡 착식에 적용하여 각각의 인자를 산출한 결과 Langmuir와 Freundlich 등온흡착식 모두에서 흡착능력이 Cu, Cd 및 Zn에 비해서 우수한 것으로 경우는 등온흡착식이 등온흡착식에 비해 더 적합하였으나 Zn의 경우 저농도에서 약간 차이는 있었으나 두 모두 적합하였다. 전자현미경 (SEM)을 흡착 전 후의 biochar 표면을 관찰한 후에 중금속이 흡착되어 있는 것을 관찰 할 수 있었다. 본 논문은 청보리와 헤어리베치 단작 및 혼작 재배지에서 돈분액비 시용이 녹비의 생육과 biomass에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 녹비작물의 초장은 LPM 3.3 처리구에서 가장 길었으며, 재배지에서는 6.6 길었다. biomass는 질소 시비량의 전량 100%에 해당하는 최대생육을 나타냈으며, 200%에 6.6은 돈분액비의 과잉시용으로 인해 biomass가 낮게 조사된 것으로 판단된다. 처리구가 처리구에 비해 높은 biomass를 나타내었으며, 이는 재배와 달리 재배에서는 청보리 헤어리베치의 양분 요구도가 증가했기 때문이라고 따라서 최적 투입량은 단작재배의 경우 <TEX>$3.30Mg\;10a^{-1}$</TEX> 정도이었고, 혼작재배의 <TEX>$6.60Mg\;10a^{-1}$</TEX> 정도이었다. 현행 살처분 가축사체의 처리방안 중 하나인 랜더링 처리방법을 사용하여 나온 부산물을 액비화 시키기 위해 산 및 알칼리 분해제를 액화시켰으며, 분해제별 주입량 처리시간에 따른 부산물의 분해율과 분해속도를 조사하였다. 잔존량을 조사한 결과 분해제 가장 높은 나타낸 것은 <TEX>$HNO_3$</TEX>으로 다른 분해제는 10분이 경과한 후 잔존량이 대부분 50% 이하로 나타났다. 분해속도 K (<TEX>$hr^{-1}$</TEX>)는 KOH의 경우 부산물 무게 대비 25% > 30% 20% 15% 10%순으로 25%를 넣어줬을 때 빨리 분해가 되었다. <TEX>$H_2SO_4$</TEX>의 넣었을 분해되었으며, NaOH도 이와 비슷한 경향이었다. 분해율은 <TEX>$HNO_3$</TEX>의 경우에는 순도가 약 61% 정도로 분해제들보다 낮아 분해율이 현저히 떨어졌으며, KOH, NaOH 25%와 30%를 큰 차이가 없어 경제성 효율성을 고려하였을 경우가 적합하다고 판단된다. 주암호내 복내 홍수조절지에서 침수 식물체가 수질에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위해 홍수조절지 내에 자생하는 주요 우점종의 분포와 생육특성을 조사하였고, 이들 결과를 토대로 침수식물체의 영양염류 부하량을 조사하였다. 홍수조절지의 전체 면적은 <TEX>$1,848,568m^2$</TEX>로 침수전 (5월 15일) 식생의 총 <TEX>$1,146,849m^2$</TEX>이었고, 8월 19일에는 집중강우로 인하여 식생이 서식하는 홍수 조절지가 침수되었다. 침수지역내 우점 식생은 이삭사초, 물억새 및 매자기로 이삭사초가 면적의 87%를 차지하였다. 식생별 OM 부하량은 <TEX>$865,455kg\;area^{-1}$</TEX> (87.7%)로 가장 많았으며, 매자기 물억새가36,182 (4.0%) <TEX>$5,882kg\;area^{-1}$</TEX> (0.6%)이었다.
