Wearable insole-based pressure sensor systems have gained attention for continuous gait monitoring, showing potential preventing, diagnosing, and treating conditions such as lumbar degenerative disease diabetic foot ulcers. However, challenges nonlinear response, low stability, energy limitations hindered widespread adoption. Here, we report a fully integrated, self-powered, wireless smart insole designed plantar monitoring real-time visualization analysis of gait. The uses synergistic...

We present a unique signal of jet-induced medium excitations: the enhancement baryon-to-meson ratios around quenched jets.To illustrate this, we study jet-particle correlations and distributions identified particles with respect to jet direction in Pb+Pb collisions at LHC via multi-phase transport model. We find strong for associated intermediate transverse momentum triggered jets relative p+p collisions, due coalescence jet-excited partons.Since lost energy from can diffuse large angles,...
This randomized control clinical trial aimed to evaluate the efficacy of tofacitinib combined with phototherapy narrowband ultraviolet B (UVB) in treatment vitiligo. A total 136 vitiligo patients were UVB (UVB group) or (TOF-UVB group). The followed up for 24 weeks. In post-treatment analysis outcomes, area severity index (VASI) and dermatology life quality (DLQI) measured. Serum levels inflammatory factors including IL-17, IL-23, IFN-γ IL-6, measured enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay....
Abstract Jet-medium interaction involves two important effects: jet energy loss and medium response. The search for jet-induced excitations is one of the hot topics in quenching study relativistic nuclear collisions. In this work, we perform a systematic on how lost from hard jets evolves with bulk redistributes final state heavy-ion collisions via multi-phase transport model. particular, ( $$\Delta \eta , \Delta \phi $$ ...
We have developed a low-energy electron recoil (ER) calibration method with 220Rn for the PandaX-II detector. 220Rn, emanated from natural thorium compounds, was fed into detector through xenon purification system. From 2017 to 2019, we performed three dedicated campaigns different radon sources. studied response α, β, and γ particles focus on low energy ER events. During runs in 2018, amount of radioactivity 222Rn were order 1% that particulate contamination negligible, especially 2018....
The possibility to study the fragmentation function of jets with energies below 50 GeV, which cannot be reconstructed in heavy-ion environment, is explored. We propose measure imbalance distribution between prompt photon and charged hadrons ALICE experiment at LHC. In present article, case proton–proton collisions $\sqrt{s}=14$ TeV examined Monte-Carlo simulations. Performances for identification rejection π 0 decay photons are presented. find that measurement meaningful respect statistical...
We present a unique signal of medium response to jet quenching: the enhancement baryon-to-meson ratios for associated particles at intermediate transverse momentum around triggered quenched jets. Since lost energy from jets can diffuse large angles, we expect that such is stronger larger distance with respect axis. Our prediction be tested by future experiments.
BACKGROUND On January 22, 2020, Macao reported its first case of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection. By August 2021, the situation had escalated into a crisis community transmission. In response, government launched recruitment campaign seeking assistance and services healthcare workers (HCWs) from private sector throughout Macao. These participants faced concerns about their own health that families, as well responsibility maintaining public wellness. This study aims to determine...
The energy loss of heavy quarks traversing color dense matter is calculated with an analytical formula derived within the light-cone path integral (LCPI) approach. We find that mechanism dominated by gluon radiation and induces a suppression pattern charm quark different from light quarks. also this radiative energy-loss proportional to L 2 for energetic quarks, but changes dependance decreasing energy, where length traversed medium.
Two-particle correlation triggered by high-p T particles allows us to study hard scattering phenomena when full jet reconstruction is challenging. An analysis of the first ALICE pp data where charged and neutral isolated or not are used as trigger presented. The two-particle between (t) associate (a) studied a function imbalance parameter x E =-p Ta • p Tt / | 2 interpreted in terms fragmentation function.
The properties of γ-jet pairs emitted in heavy-ion collisions provide an accurate mean to perform a tomographic measurement the medium created collision through study modified jet properties. idea is measure distribution hadrons on opposite side direct photon. feasibility such measurements studied by applying approach simulation data, we have demonstrated that this method allows us measure, with good approximation, both fragmentation and back-to-back azimuthal alignment photon jet. Comparing...
Comparing the measurements of hadronic final state from partonic showers in proton-proton and heavy-ion collisions will reveal modifications generated by medium on partons produced hard scatterings. This can be achieved selecting processes which there is a direct photon state. The experimental technique consists tagging events with well identified high energy measuring azimuthal angle correlation charged hadrons. To establish reference measurement for collisions, collision data collected...
Abstract The fragmentation properties of inclusive jets produced in PbPb collisions at a center mass energy s N = 2.76 TeV are characterized by measuring differential jet shapes. shape is defined as the fractional transverse momentum carried charged particles emitted distance r from axis, with reconstructed using anti- k T clustering algorithm. shapes measured for p , > 100 GeV / c and hardons 1 . Different background subtraction methods employed to remove contribution underlying events....
$\gamma +$jet events provide a tomographic measurement of the medium formed in heavy ion collisions at LHC energies. Tagging with well identified high $p_{T}$ direct photon and measuring correlation distribution hadrons emitted oppositely to photon, allows us determine, good approximation, both jet fragmentation function back-to-back azimuthal misalignement jet. Comparing these two observables measured $pp$ ones $AA$ will reveal modifications structure induced by consequently infer properties.

This paper reviews recent experimental results on hard probes in heavy-ion collisions from the ALICE and STAR Collaboration. These studies include various observables characterizing jet properties like nuclear modification factors, recoil yields, di-jet photon-jet energy imbalance, fragmentation function shapes; measurements of high- p T charged hadrons triggered particle correlations will be highlighted.
