This paper proposes a leakage detection method based on detecting significant discrepancies between pressure measurements and their estimations obtained from the simulation of calibrated water distribution network model. Every sensor in will allow to detect discrepancy due depending its location. Then, set well distributed sensors generate signature that allows localisation. presents methodology used Barcelona for distributing properly good discrimination localisation process. We report on Raman scattering measurements Si-capped Ge quantum structures grown by molecular beam epitaxy Si(001) at low temperatures. find a double band structure in the Ge–Ge frequency range for nanoislands substrate temperatures ranging interval 300–500 °C. Complementary information has been obtained from performing experiments annealed samples. The results are interpreted terms of model that considers (hut clusters) composed strained core and more relaxed SiGe shell.

To determine which parameter of the umbilical arterial cord gas analysis, pH, base deficit (BD) or lactate has a bigger predictive ability for neonatal morbidity at term.We conducted four-year retrospective cohort study including all non-anomalous, singleton, vertex, term births with acidemia (umbilical pH ≤ 7.1). The primary outcomes were composite neurological and systemic morbidity. lactate, BD was compared using receiver operator characteristic (ROC) curves. Optimal cutoff values...

Background and Objectives: Fetal growth restriction (FGR) is a severe obstetric disease characterized by low fetal size entailing set of undesired consequences. For instance, previous studies have noticed worrisome association between FGR with an abnormal neurodevelopment. However, the precise link neurodevelopmental alterations are not yet fully understood yet. Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) critical neurotrophin strongly implicated in other neurological processes. In addition,...

Currently, there is no validated treatment for fetal cytomegalovirus (CMV). Two studies suggest that high-dose maternal valacyclovir decreases viral load and improves outcomes in moderately-symptomatic fetuses. We offered cases of infection lacking ultrasound abnormalities or with non-severe infection. Maternal tolerability, outcome newborn blood were evaluated pregnancies mothers receiving valacyclovir. We performed a case series including 8 CMV classified as unaffected/mildly-moderately...
