As a promising modality for cancer therapy, photodynamic therapy (PDT) still acquired limited success in clinical nowadays due to the extremely serious hypoxia and immunosuppression tumor microenvironment. To ameliorate such situation, we rationally designed prepared cascade two-stage re-oxygenation immune re-sensitization BSA-MHI148@SRF nanoparticles

Salmonella spp., as a major foodborne pathogen, pose significant threats to public health globally and has been an important zoonotic contamination for poultry industry that should receive increasing attentions. This study aimed comprehensively investigate the prevalence, antimicrobial resistances, virulence factors, plasmid types of isolates collected from chickens, ducks, geese across eight cities in Shandong between 2019 2022. Out 300 samples, 53 strains (17.67%) were isolated, with...

Potentilla anserina L polysaccharide (PAP) possesses many bioactivities. In the present study, molecular weight, monosaccharide composition, FT-IR, morphology of PAPs were characterized, result showed that Mw PAP-1, PAP-2, PAP-3, PAP-4, and PAP-5 4.480 × 105 Da , 1.284 Da, 8.377 104 3.639 2.412 Da; composed Rha, Man, Glc Gal. And then, ROS, MDA, SOD, GSH-Px evaluated after radiation damage by γ-rays in RAW264.7 cells. The results demonstrated reduce ROS MDA content, increase activity SOD...

Klotho is a protein that closely related to human aging. Soluble (S-Klotho) circulating protein, and its level decreases in response systemic inflammation. The relationship between the platelet/high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio (PHR), an emerging inflammatory index, S-Klotho concentrations still unclear. In addition, mean platelet volume has been confirmed have significant negative association with concentrations, but count (PC) not yet reported.

High-altitude pulmonary edema (HAPE) is a life-threatening disease occurs in hypobaric hypoxia (HH) environment, which could be treated by Dexamethasone, but might cause side-effects. Potentilla anserina L polysaccharide (PAP) holds promising physiological and pharmacological properties beneficial for HAPE treatment. In our study, the anti-hypoxia effect of PAP was firstly investigated through anti-normobaric test anti-acute test. Then we established model measured lung water content,...

Gastric cancer is one of the main reasons cancer-induced death, exploring molecular mechanisms gastric progression critical for therapy. Here, we studied role cysteine protease inhibitor CST1 in progression.Matrigel-coated or -uncoated transwell assay was used to determine effect on invasion and migration, luciferase reporter system Wnt pathway activity.CST1 had high expression levels tissues cells, patients who poor outcome. Overexpression increased migration invasion, while knockdown...

Isopyrazam is a new broad-spectrum, foliar-absorbed and -translocated succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor fungicide. In this study, 159 Botrytis cinerea isolates collected from different geographical regions of Shandong Province China were characterized for baseline sensitivity to isopyrazam. Furthermore, the protective curative activity isopyrazam on strawberry fruit control efficacy in field also determined. contrast its mycelial growth, spore germination B. was inhibited completely by lower...

Background Inflammation is involved in the progression of overactive bladder (OAB). This study aimed to investigate association between neutrophil high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio (NHR) and OAB. Methods Data from seven cycles National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 2005 2018 were analyzed examine relationship NHR Multivariable logistic regression model was used estimate OAB, along with restricted cubic spline assess dose-response relationship. ABSTRACT The topology and connectivity of rivers can be modified by the water project operation for agriculture civilization, as exemplified trellised river system in Chongming Island. Ciliates, an exceptional indicator, are often employed monitoring health aquatic ecosystems. However, assembly structure planktonic microeukaryote (e.g., ciliates) communities, especially complex networks, rarely investigated. Here, we investigated ciliate community mechanism among seasons Island's network...
