Abstract Pityriasis rubra pilaris (PRP) is an inflammatory papulosquamous dermatosis, characterized by hyperkeratotic follicular papules and erythematous desquamative plaques. The precise pathogenic mechanism underlying PRP remains incompletely understood. Herein, we conduct a case-control study involving cohort of 102 patients with sporadic 800 healthy controls Han Chinese population identify significant associations ( P = 1.73 × 10 −6 ) between heterozygous mutations in the Keratin 32 gene...
ABSTRACT Mycobacterium marinum is a nontuberculous mycobacterium and an opportunistic pathogen which infects humans. Here, we report case of 87-year-old female who had extensive verrucous skin lesions on her upper limbs for 18 months. The patient was diagnosed with infection by pathology quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) assay tissue. After five months oral rifampicin clarithromycin, the regressed completely.
Linear IgA bullous dermatosis (LABD) is a rare autoimmune blistering skin disease characterized by linear deposits of autoantibodies against the basal membrane zone direct immunofluorescence. Clinical features include polycyclic groupings bullae with central crusting (Genovese et al., 2019Genovese G. Venegoni L. Fanoni D. Muratori S. Berti E. Bullous pemphigoid and pemphigus vulgaris, which belong to the group of subepidermal intraepidermal bullae, respectively, are two potentially devastating blistering skin diseases. We used high‐frequency ultrasound (US) in 3 cases these diseases as prototypes study value US discriminating blister locations. Our findings showed that has a strong correlation with histomorphometric because its high resolution, we hope it will be helpful for differentiating
Pulmonary hemorrhage occurring in preterm newborns is a catastrophic event and significantly associated with neonatal deaths. Low-weight-molecular heparin medical agent usually used as anticoagulants during pregnancy has the advantages of good absorption, long half-life, high bioavailability. This study evaluated pulmonary function coagulation neonates following intravenous drip low-molecular-weight effects on serum prealbumin retinol-binding protein levels. A total 96 were included subjects...
