Abstract Background The measurement of handgrip strength (HGS) has prognostic value with respect to all‐cause mortality, cardiovascular mortality and disease, is an important part the evaluation frailty. Published reference ranges for HGS are mostly derived from Caucasian populations in high‐income countries. There a paucity information on normative values non‐Caucasian low‐ or middle‐income objective this study was develop healthy adults broad range ethnicities socioeconomically diverse...

Although socioeconomic inequality in cardiovascular health has long been a public focus, the differences cardiovascular-disease burden and mortality between people with different statuses yet to be adequately addressed. We aimed assess effects of status, measured via three socioeconomic-status indicators (ie, education, occupation, household wealth composite disparity index, on incidence, mortality, admission hospital) China. For this analysis, we used data from Prospective Urban Rural...

Objectives The primary purpose of this study was to determine whether elasticity quantification the levator ani muscle (LAM) using shear wave elastography (SWE) is different between women with and without pelvic organ prolapse (POP) LAM associated stage or dimensions hiatus. secondary aim evaluate intraobserver interobserver reliability measurements SWE. Methods participants included 20 normal support 38 (stages I–III). hiatus imaged by transperineal 3‐dimensional ultrasound, elastic modulus...

Abstract Introduction Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) occurs due to disruption of the pelvic floor anatomy; however, complexity support structures and individual patient differences make it difficult identify weak points in that cause SUI occur, develop, recur. This study aimed analyze anatomy, structural features, biomechanics cystoceles develop more effective treatment plans with individualized precise healthcare. Material methods In this observational case‐controlled (clinical trial...

We investigated the application of contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) to quantify vascular perfusion in two animal models choroidal melanoma.B16F10 and melanoma cell line (OCM1) xenografts were implanted into cyclodialysis cleft rabbits' right eyes. Fundus photography, indocyanine green angiography (ICGA), B-mode ultrasound, CEUS used examine tumors. Standard parameters imaging evaluated, including area under receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC), peak intensity (IMAX), mean transit...

Primary erythromelalgia (PE) is a dominant inherited disorder characterized by recurrent pain, redness, and warmth of the extremities that caused gain-of-function mutations in Nav1.7 encoding gene SCN9A. Most PE-causing have been shown to be able render Nav1.7-expressing cells hyperexcitable, however most PE cases symptoms are refractory treatment with sodium channel blockers mechanism underlying intractability has not clearly clarified. To identify mutation SCN9A Chinese Han family typical...

Sampling rate conversion combined with symbol timing loop for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) software receiver is investigated. Generally, and sampling tracking the OFDM can be achieved by adjusting ADC's phase a voltage controlled oscillator (VCO). On radio platform, intermediate (IF) waveform digitized free running clock. So, method of little different from generally implemented one. To implement such an receiver, interpolation investigated to realize conversion. Also,...

The late damage in pig skin to fractionated doses of 35 MeV fast neutron was studied. Neutron fractionation scheme comprised 12 fractions 42 days. latent period 19.8, 22.2, 24.6 and 27.0 Gy groups were 17.00±1.53, 13.67±1.45, 14.00±2.31 17.00±2.00, weeks, respectively (P>0.05). ED50 value for 21.0 Gy. mean latency not related the total dose. However, incidence characterized by a dusky/mauve erythema which could progress dermal necrosis. development necrosis longer it harder heal than early reaction.
